Oh, they made racial ones too. Hittites, Sea Peoples, Nubians, etc. These weren't simply cultural distinctions but ones of race too.

Actually, the lead construction was done by skilled artisans and tradesmen who knew their profession. Statues sculpted from stone didn't carve themselves and some farmer in the off season wasn't doing that. Sure, grunt workers might have been something like that to earn extra cash, but the core of the construction was done by professional, skilled labor.

The vast majority of Blacks that came to the US were as slaves. There were some free Blacks too, but all in all most lived in Southern states. The majority of the economy in those states was what today would be called agribusiness. That is, large plantations and farms run by rich, sometimes absent, owners who grew cash crops primarily for export.

Even there, the vast majority of Blacks were employed in basic manual labor tasks. This is akin to many other immigrant groups like the Irish and Chinese (railway and canal construction) or Germans (factory workers, military troops, and trade labor). The South went to war with the North using their White population. Few, if any, Blacks were used by the South as troops. In the North, there was a general reluctance to form Black units for combat and those formed were generally looked on unfavorably. That is a trend that continued through the 1950's until the military was desegregated. Even then, Blacks continued to be seen as inferior as manpower. Those are historical facts.

On the whole, Blacks did contribute to building America, but their role was never central to or so significant it outweighed the contributions of other ethnicities.

And no one said African nations led the world, rather that there were advanced nations in Africa, as there were in other parts of the world, Timbuktu for one, gold for salt trade being an example, Carthage, ancient Egypt/Nubia, and if you are looking remnants, they are buried under stand

Really? What is that outside of outright disability? And I would argue that there are very few absolute disabilities that would keep anyone from doing any job.

But like I said, you have already conceded the point. Care to retract your prior statements that “there are jobs people won’t do”? Coloreds are people right?
