Sending Tanks To The Ukraine.

No doubt you have all seen this if you watch the news. The Ukraine is asking the West for tanks. But there seems to be some reluctance to do so. There was also reluctance to send the Ukraine fighter jets. But I don't see what the big deal is. During both the Korean War and the Vietnamese War, Russia sent both of them tanks and aircraft. I say that Tzar Putin and Russia in general could use a little payback in that regard. I see that there seems to be some reluctance to reply to me. But I will ask it anyway. Do you agree or disagree.

Well part of the problem is that the Germans have almost nothing that is operational, as in it could go more than a few days without breaking down. That very well might also be true of the UK tanks.

I'm not sure what the reluctance is. Fear Ukraine's going to steal or sell our technology to enemies? Fear of retaliation from Russia?

Looks to me like the West's "strategy" is not to allow Ukraine to win the war outright but to create a stalemate. With the weapons the West could give to Ukraine they could probably win fairly easily.
I guess they don't want to hurt Moscow's feeeelings, else provoke them into using nukes. That's all I can figure.

The problem with Challenger 2 tanks at least is that the reactive Chobham armour is still secret. Only Abrams tanks use the technology as well. The armour is so effective that it can survive a direct hit from a T-72 shell.

Highly unlikely...the Chinese steal whatever they want.

The inhabitants cannot. The shock wave has to go somewhere.

I love the way you endow the Chinese with such miraculous powers, yet their most recent MBT the third gen Type 99 is no match for Leopard 2, Abrams M1 or Challenger 2. They are reportedly working on a fourth gen MBT but it's mostly vapourware at present.

Obviously you've never heard of explosive reactive armour otherwise you wouldn't spout such bullshit.

A British Challenger 2 tank was hit directly by 14 RPGs and an anti-tank missile in Iraq. The crew was uninjured and the tank was back in operation 6 hours later. Another survived 70 RPG hits. Only 1 Challenger 2 has been destroyed in combat; by another Challenger 2 in a friendly fire incident.

The Chinese are diligent in getting what they want, and the West has long been incredibly reckless.

I heard a claim awhile back that the NATO tanks are too heavy to operate successfully in Ukraine. I dont know if this is true but it must be looked into.
