Because she shouted orders and needed to learn the government does not have that right in that situation. Police are the most direct representatives of the government and when they overstep, if we allow it, we become subjects not citizens.

No, she claimed it was for officer safety, I never got a answer as to why she demanded the window be opened. Had she asked me nicely acknowledging that it was my right to choose to do it, I would’ve gladly opened the window. My theory is that the condo commandos were upset about people having beach access, and more demanding the police do something about it.

I believe in the right to protest. I believe protesters have a right to protest at the homes of S.Ct. Justices, but I don’t think they should.

Families should be left alone.

So basically Senate had to pass a law to once again protect people from violence from the party that loves to bill itself as tolerant, loving, caring and fair. And you wonder why no one takes democrats seriously.

Yes, and women’s right to privacy in their healthcare should be left alone as well, but Alito feels he can overturn 50 years of precedent, people become passionate. The protest if peaceful, should not be prohibited. If they become violent, then action can be taken. I doubt Alito and his family are in harms way.
There was 185 year precedent of the states deciding about abortion before Roe. Currently Federal law prohibits protesting at judges homes. The protesters are violating the law. They should warn these people that what they are doing is illegal. Then if they don't disperse they should make arrest. Trying to intimidate judges isn't how American justice should work. So you can assure Alito that the wacko that fire bombed that abortion counseling organization won't firebomb his and his family's home.

For a self-described attorney, you sure know very little about the law. They do NOT have that right and it is a Federal crime. 18 USC § 2261A and 18 U.S.C. 1507.

If democrats truly cared about our "LAWS" they would be asking the Justice Departments to start arresting organizations that posted their addresses and plan/promote attacks on the court and places of worship.
