Senate passes bill to give police protection to families of Supreme Court justices

Lots of officers have a lot to learn about individuals rights.

I recently got one suspended, she still might be fired, after she pulled her gun when I refused to roll down my un-tinted rear window.

What? Why on Earth would she pull her gun out for that? What did you get stopped for, if you don't mind me asking?

Yes, and women’s right to privacy in their healthcare should be left alone as well, but Alito feels he can overturn 50 years of precedent, people become passionate. The protest if peaceful, should not be prohibited. If they become violent, then action can be taken. I doubt Alito and his family are in harms way.
Row v Wade shit on 197 years of precedent.

individuals have rights - women have no special rights to kill.

Good, the Democratic majority is protecting our government.

I believe in the right to protest. I believe protesters have a right to protest at the homes of S.Ct. Justices, but I don’t think they should.

Families should be left alone.
Agreed on the right to protest but violence isn’t protesting. It’s just violence against the opposition.

I saw the video.

When the 1/6 public hearings begin, the whole world will see part of the 14,000 hours of violent insurrection, sedition and Trump’s Terrorists attempting a coup.

While I doubt Trump will ever go to jail (unidicted conspirator?) Donnie Junior and all the other staffers who pushed the plot forward won’t be so lucky. Some, like Rudy, may choose to “exit stage right” rather than go to prison for the rest of their lives. LOL

Illegal parking, my kids were loading their surf boards into my truck, in front of a beach condo. She was really out of control. I called and had back up come and a reasonable officer took over, but I had her on video.

I didn't even get a ticket, but the kids saw this Sherriff pull her gun.

What the insurrectionist mobs trying to "to influence, intimidate, or impede" the justices are doing is against the law.

ALL of the criminally threatening insurrectionists there "to influence, intimidate, or impede" the SCOTUS Justices are in clear violation of 18 U.S. Code § 1503.

I was under the impression that the Leftists in our country opposed insurrection. What happened to the Leftist outrage against insurrection?

A peaceful protest is not an insurrection. A violent and destructive one that prevents a Constitutionally required legislative action is.

Violence should be prevented and dealt with.

Agreed. Although certain groups on JPP conflate local law enforcement with federal law enforcement, I completely agree that all jurisdictions should nip violence and violent people in the bud.

From what I can tell the protest at the justices homes are peaceful so far.

Bullshit, it's against the law to picket the homes of judges on an active case and the DOJ/FBI not only won't uphold the law but the unelected illegitimate Biden junta refuses to condemn the obvious intimidation tactics including Doxxing. Now it is time for we the people to defend the rule of law by taking direct action against these infanticidal swine.

Agreed, but the same can be said for Pedo Don followers in the beginning. As the summer heat increases, and all indications are that it will be a long, hot summer, the violence will increase on both sides.

Ultimately, I expect mass murder…probably by WSEs, but it would certainly be by political extremists which could be affiliated with either Left or Right.

The January 6th protests were completely peaceful until the state terrorist enforcers for the unelected illegitimate Biden junta began firing flash bangs and tear gas into the peaceful protesters before anyone even set foot on the staircase or the rotunda and when that failed to instigate the crowd to violence they changed tactics and began escorting them into the capital building where they were kettled and met with more tear gas, riot shields, batons, and bullets. Doxxing judges and showing up at their homes is not peaceful it is obstruction of justice through intimidation tactics.

Would you mind sharing one of the links to the peaceful protests-ones that respect their privacy, their families, their property, their safety ? I'll understand if you can't....

The first Amendment makes that law invalid, that is why it is not enforced. ITs not the law that makes it ok or not ok, its the ethics.

Great story for every occasion...Why not just roll down your window, though?

1) Untrue. You are such a tool.
2) The Jan 6 terrorists were directly preventing a Constitutionally required Congressional action relating to the transition of power.
3) You need to look up the word peaceful.
4) It takes courage to be a strong American and respect the peaceful protests of people you disagree with.

If violence occurs, the violent ones should be arrested and prosecuted. If they storm the Supreme Court Building and delay or even try to delay the ruling, they should be arrested,

Because she shouted orders and needed to learn the government does not have that right in that situation. Police are the most direct representatives of the government and when they overstep, if we allow it, we become subjects not citizens.

WTF. Over a fucking parking violation? Why did she want you to roll down a back window? Dumb question: Are you a person of color?
