Saudi Prince/ex-AMBAS to US: 'CIA can't be trusted re murder, why isn't it ON TRIAL?'

There are very few left who believe that or do it. That is my point. This board is just a very small cross section of what Americans believe, but it is representative. And it makes my point. That "baton" is actually a big stick. It needs to be wielded more often and more powerfully, but sparingly and with result. We have lost that will as a country because it has been misused and misunderstood.

We are talking about Trump and his reaction.
It's not too difficult to at least give it some 'lip-service'.
His response was NOT what was wanted.
He made it sound like "Well, they're buying a lot of Planes from us, so let's just ignore it".

Not even the pretense of condemning this kind of activity ... "Premeditated Murder by the State of a Citizen".

Criminals against Humanity must be captured, tried, and if convicted, perhaps should be executed as they are in SA: at an intersection where roads cross so all can see the Mighty humbled.

Did you support Trump when he punished Assad (Syria) when he used Internationally Banned Chemical Weapons? That's what you HAVE to do. You HAVE to uphold International Law. We're in the 21st century, and we've got the Baton. Maybe China, Russia, or Saudi Arabia will be holding the Baton in the Future, ... but America has it NOW. We've got to stand for the American Way.

You mean when Trump bombed an empty airfield?

Yemen is not a half a world away.. They are in Arabia's back yard and this has been going on since they bombed the USS Cole in 1998.

Jack, America as a beacon for all countries is now a pipe dream. Liberty and Justice have been hijacked and corrupted. It really got bad the last 4 administrations. They let it get away from them. That is only the fault of one group of people. The American voter. They do not know, understand nor care about those values that made this country what it is. To them it has become about nothing other than themselves and identity politics. They know nothing else. That does not bode well for anyone.

You hypocritical dolt. You've just finished calling the U.S. Abu Ghraib monstrosities insignificant. Are you under a professional for schizophrenic treatment ?

You ought to fuck off now, sneak- you're an embarrassment to yourself.

Will you be going after Israel as well?

What for? I actually like Israel for what it is. I only like KSA for its oil (and somewhat for its contributions to the alliance). There's not really much to like about a country that contains Mecca and Medina.

Since this is a foreign affair, it's really a function of the Senate as to how we deal with KSA.

Just my opinion on a political forum, but I don't think a Democratic House is going to sit back and watch the USA suck the cock of a Saudi Prince. Hopefully they will show a little backbone and CONDEMN the actions of Saudi Arabia.
"Premeditated Murder" ... "of a Citizen" ... "by the State".

(You'd be surprised how many Right-winger types support this kind of behavior here on JPP, really astounding)

They can pass a non-binding resolution, if they are motivated to do so. They can also use their power of the pursestrings to irritate and annoy.

Will they also censure Israel?

They have always been pro-American and shared intelligence with the US. Further, 40,000 Americans who live there like it and find the people hospitable and kind.

Israel has in fact been on the dole since 1948 and has betrayed every single US president since Truman.

Even if this were true (it's not), the last US president clearly turned the tables on Israel in that regard.

Obama was VERY generous with Israel.. The problem you failed to understand was that when Obama invited Bibi to come and discuss stopping settlement expansion, he showed up with a blueprint for more settlement building. See what a waste of time that was?

They betrayed Reagan with Sabra and Shatilla which resulted in the attack on the Marine barracks in Beirut.

In Truman's letters to Eleanor Roosevelt he lamented that the abused had become the abusers as soon as they got the upper hand.

They betrayed Eisenhower with the Lavon Affair in driving a wedge between the US and Egypt which lead directly to the Suez Crisis... and the attack on Egypt in 1967 which lead to the closure of the Suez Canal until 1975.. Name the president and look at the pattern.

Sabra and Shatilla was the doing of the Lebanese, which was provoked by all sorts of Muslim incidents.

Ike kept us out of the Suez incident, but, we probably would have sided with the British, the way we did when they interfered in Iran.

Ariel Sharon provided weapons for the Christian philangists and stood guard keeping the villagers penned up while they were slaughtered in spite of the promise to Reagan of leaving the women, children and elderly alone if the PA left the country.

The Lavon Affair was about killing Americans and Brits in Egypt and making it look like Arabs did it.. Eisenhower withdrew his promise to fund the construction of the Aswan Damn.. That's why Nasser nationalized the Canal to buy the assets from the British and French to fund the construction of the Aswan.
