Saudi Prince/ex-AMBAS to US: 'CIA can't be trusted re murder, why isn't it ON TRIAL?'

(shaking head) Americans, and America, support Human Rights Worldwide. I'm not sure where you are from, but HERE, we condemn Human Rights abuses. We may not be able to do anything about it, we may continue to do 'trade' with the Offending Countries, ... we, at the minimum, let our voices be heard and we PROMOTE the Ideas of America. 'Free Speech' being one of them.

(Sailor, if you have learned to read English yet, you should read the Bill of Rights and maybe a little something about our Founding Fathers and what their Vision was)

Thanks for lesson Jack. Now put it to use instead of just talking about it. Then come back and chat with me.

The US must go after The Crowned Prince and Prince Turki al-Faisal, get them in US courts, and try them as perpetrators of crimes against humanity.

Any who argue on their behalf, outside of the legal system, must be prosecuted to the furthest extent possible for criminal libel and broken financially.

Will we also go after Russia and Israel and Syria?

Why on earth would you go after Prince Turki al Faisal?

You know, Sailor. Just by your remarks and total lack of comprehension of the American Values generations of our people fought for, it's easy to see why you would support Authoritative and Dictatorial Regimes around the world.
1. I'm going to guess ... and say you are of Arabic extraction.
2. You finance a fleet of Slaver Ships out of Equatorial Guinea (or one of the islands)
3. Or ... a fleet of Pirate Ships out of Somalia?
4. It's understandable why you adore a 'Supreme Leader', nobody wants trouble out in the middle of the ocean.

Praise Be To Allah, the Most Merciful ... YOU can't Vote!

Pipe down you damn idiot. "the American Values generations of our people fought for" I did. How about you? What is so confusing about this entire discussion to you? The murder did not happen on U.S. territory. The man was not a U.S. citizen.
Freedom of speech is great in this country. Our values and beliefs do not extend to other countries. I realize you probably never get out of your basement or little town but it is a big world out there. They think and do things different.

Do you know what Khashoggi advocated?

"Jamal Ahmad Khashoggi (/kəˈʃoʊɡʒi, kəˈʃoʊɡi/; Arabic: جمال أحمد خاشقجي‎ jamāl ʾaḥmad ḵāšuqjī, Hejazi pronunciation: [d͡ʒaˈmaːl xaːˈʃoɡʒi], (Turkish: Cemal kaşıkçı); 13 October 1958 – 2 October 2018) was a Saudi Arabian journalist, dissident, author, and a general manager and editor-in-chief of Al-Arab News Channel who was assassinated at the Saudi Arabian consulate in Istanbul on 2 October 2018 by agents of the Saudi Government.[6] He also served as editor for the Saudi Arabian newspaper Al Watan, turning it into a platform for Saudi Arabian progressives.[7]

Khashoggi fled Saudi Arabia in September 2017 and went into self-imposed exile. He said that the Saudi Arabian government had "banned him from Twitter",[8] and he later wrote newspaper articles critical of the Saudi government. Khashoggi had been sharply critical of Saudi Arabia's crown prince, Mohammad bin Salman, and the country's king, Salman of Saudi Arabia.[9] He also opposed the Saudi Arabian-led intervention in Yemen.[10]"

Well, Princess kudzu, here's a quote: "He also served as editor for the Saudi Arabian newspaper Al Watan, turning it into a platform for Saudi Arabian progressives."
As far as I know, only you and your Privateer friend (Sailor) think being a 'Progressive' warrants a Death Sentence'.

Oh look, another quote: "Khashoggi had been sharply critical of Saudi Arabia's crown prince, Mohammad bin Salman."
See, ONLY you and Sailor think people should be killed for 'Criticizing' the Supreme Leader. (I'm guessing you and Sailor feel the same about people who criticize Trump?)

I know this is going to hurt. "He also opposed the Saudi Arabian-led intervention in Yemen." Yes, Khashoggi opposed the War in Yemen. I know this alone would make even you want to strangle Khashoggi and cut him up into little pieces. (I'm guessing Sailor is losing money with all the Warships crawling around the place?)

You are waaaay out there, Jack.

Khashoggi was an advocate for a global Caliphate under Sharia law and regime change in Arabia. He would turn KSA into another Syria or Libya.

Opposing the war in Yemen is easy , but completely unrealistic. Yemen is overun with anti-American Jihadis.. don't you remember all the bombers they tried to put on American airliners?

Prince Turki is a good and wise man who has always been a source for the US and against terrorism.

Look, Ahab. America has to be a Beacon for Western Civilization. It HAS to stand for Liberty and Justice.
(No one is saying we start rolling Tanks through Riyadh or flatten Saudi with every munition on Diego Garcia, but we have to utter the words "MoMo, dude, you fucked up. Dial it back Mother Fucker.")

No shit. What have you done to further those causes? Other than make yourself sound self important on the internet.

Jack, America as a beacon for all countries is now a pipe dream. Liberty and Justice have been hijacked and corrupted. It really got bad the last 4 administrations. They let it get away from them. That is only the fault of one group of people. The American voter. They do not know, understand nor care about those values that made this country what it is. To them it has become about nothing other than themselves and identity politics. They know nothing else. That does not bode well for anyone.

Did you support Trump when he punished Assad (Syria) when he used Internationally Banned Chemical Weapons? That's what you HAVE to do. You HAVE to uphold International Law. We're in the 21st century, and we've got the Baton. Maybe China, Russia, or Saudi Arabia will be holding the Baton in the Future, ... but America has it NOW. We've got to stand for the American Way.

There are very few left who believe that or do it. That is my point. This board is just a very small cross section of what Americans believe, but it is representative. And it makes my point. That "baton" is actually a big stick. It needs to be wielded more often and more powerfully, but sparingly and with result. We have lost that will as a country because it has been misused and misunderstood.

Anyway Jack, Kudzu and all, have a great evening. I hope to rejoin this discussion tomorrow. Have a good evening.
