Rep. Tulsi Gabbard on Wednesday slammed President Donald Trump as "Saudi Arabia's bitch" in the latest scathing criticism of the commander-in-chief's extraordinary statement this week to stand by the country's rulers despite the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

The Hawaii Democratic congresswoman made the remarks in a brief and blistering tweet Wednesday afternoon.

"Hey @realdonaldtrump: being Saudi Arabia's bitch is not 'America First,'" wrote Gabbard, a 37-year-old Iraq War veteran who at various points has been considered a rising star in her party.

The tweet was in apparent reference to Trump's exclamation point-filled formal presidential statement Tuesday that his administration would take no actions against Saudi Arabia's rulers regarding the Khashoggi killing — despite NBC News and other reports last week that the CIA concluded that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman ordered Khashoggi's killing.
 
This form the man who got elected on the promise that he would ban ALL Muslims from entering the US.

I mean I'm no fan of Trump but let's be honest. He was telling the truth here. We've been kissing Saudi Arabia's ass for oil money since WWII ended. Past administrations might "MIGHT" have made a dog and pony show out of remonstrating the Prince for his naughty behavior but they would have done exactly shit.

All is fair in love/war and politics...but business is business. If Trump is being a hypocrite here at least he's being an honest one. He told the truth. That continuing business as usual with the Saudi's was more important than one mans life. Do I agree with that? No I don't. Would all of our post WWII Presidents have done the same? Yes they would have. They would have just lied through their teeth or gave a line of bullshit over why they did nothing.

Unfortunately, you are right. It is why they don’t feel the need to improve their human rights abuses.
 
the hilarious thing is if Trump were a Russian puppet he would be all in against KSA because Iran is a Russian ally.

That's right. Look how our Government reacted to Saudi Arabia after their Nationals flew Jets into three major buildings killing thousands. They bent over ass backwards to get Saudia Royal family members and Government officials out of the country safely. If it had been Uruguay those people would have been imprisoned.
