Not sure, but it sounds like you're discussing what was commonplace in some places during those barbaric times. Children were offered and sold when people couldn't pay. They were often treated more like property than individuals. A real sick world back then.
What those people tried to do with those angels were attempted rape. And yes you're correct on the other one. Pimping and child trafficking being one of them. It continues to this day.
In other words, the premise that they created for this story fails because it has nothing to do with homosexuality. The main thing being rape or attempted rape. Notice they aren't outraged about Lot's action?

In probability, IMO, both ARE correct. That knowledge will not satisfy the fundamentalist haters like Stretch and her ilk from insisting that they have the only one true path to the Divine. When your chosen doctrine tells you to "love everyone" but then teaches you to assign judgment points to them like "That gay couple are sinners and going to Hell," or "that woman who aborted her rapist-brother's baby is going to Hell," or "That politician is a pedo because Breitbart told me so," then you don't really love everyone. Not even close.
No kidding. Even as a kid I never understood why Lot was spared and considered a man of god, when he was offering his daughters around my age for appeasement. Angels are big boys, they can take care of themselves.
