First of all, I'm NOT your son. Second, I "ran" from nothing, other than your infantile accusations.
Lastly, not that it's any of your damn business, I have 6 stints in me and have been cut from the chest to the ankle and across both hips. I spent 7 days in the ICU 13 months ago with barely enough blood pressure to keep me alive. They pumped 20 lbs. of fluids in me until it came out of the critical stage. That doesn't count the broken bones I've had. None of which were motor vehicle related.
Now, mind your own fucking business and I'll mind mine. You don't like me, and I sure as hell don't like you.

How awesome for you; you went under anesthesia and had no fucking clue what was happening at the time. BTDT a few times. Nice scars; do you wear a speedo at the pool? I would. 20 lbs is a lot. The best I've ever been able to manage is 11.5lbs (180 oz) on a hot day. Also BTDT with broken bones. Only one was auto related (fucking tree!)

Did you really think you were going to die in each of those? Just some of them? Except for a NDE at 16 I've never been "near death". Just scared the shit out of myself several times....and sometimes paid the price in money and/or pain.

My (birth) mother was 13 in 1960 when I was born, so you probably wouldn't be a likely candidate (would you give yourself the credit?).

The only time I thought I would die was when I dove off a bridge in my teens, hit a large rock and almost drowned.
My family and medical team were more concerned than I was after my surgeries that I wouldn't make it, I just thought it was part of the recovery, until I was told after I got home how serious it was. Under anesthesia? For the surgery? Obviously. But having a great resistance to pain killers, don't think for a moment the recoveries weren't painful. I'd say I'm plenty experienced when it comes to pain. The 3+ weeks using a walker was no picnic either, but I never thought I wouldn't recover. And I have. I've seen people give up for a lot less.
Drama queen? Yeah, whatever :rolleyes: I wasn't the one who questioned if my injuries were received in a DUI accident, that was you. In fact, I didn't mention what caused them. You were the one inquiring.

Oh, BTW, I was wrong. I did break 3 ribs and dislocated my knee when I rolled my '69 mustang back in 1978, but went to work the following morning. It wasn't that bad.

98% of all "Covid" cases recover. Vaccine is 94% effective. They can keep their vaccine.
