It depends. If he has something to trade, I'm sure the Feds would be interested in listening. Agreed on funding.

There's been that rumor and I suspect there's validity to it.

I think those who were in the planning phases of the attack were fairly few. It doesn't take much to plot a riot. Especially with this bunch. I have to believe that if he had something to offer, he would have been singing like a canary already.

Especially since he's been sitting in jail for two months.

Once they identify these idiots one by one, they get access to email/phone/social media records.

Fish in a barrel, as it were.

The evidence seems to indicate it was an ad hoc riot. If that’s the case it’s going to be a slow day of fishing.

You don't? I believe that even though he's the dumbest POTUS in history...usurping that spot from Dubyah...he might be smart enough to maintain radio silence so that nothing can be traced directly to him.

But, his tweets/comments at his Klan rallies fed the fever.

Agreed it doesn't take many. Just Stephen Miller and less than a handful of militia leaders. The same people who attended each rally. Maybe have Junior stop by to express encouragement.

Poor baby, when you take part in an armed insurrection you run the risk of getting locked up for life, just wait until he receives his prison sentence, hear him whine then!

At least he is likely getting credit on his multi year prison term.

Lawful Trump supporters were shocked by the Insurrection. This is best shown in Congress where the actions were universally condemned.

Of course Trump threw them under the bus almost immediately which is why the Insurrectionists now feel betrayed by Trump. Not Trump supporters, just Trump the Betrayer.

The question is whether it’s insurrection gear.

Unless they planned on probably dying in the process of trying to take over the government they were woefully unprepared. My understanding is the idiot with the zip ties found them there—as most of the other crap our wonderful propaganda media are calling ‘weapons’.

Congress already agreed it was planned by bipartisan consent.

Now there's an investigation to figure out who planned and funded it. Why are you so invested in declaring it to be "ad hoc"?

There were a few firearms, but DC’s strict gun control appears to have worked. It is totally irrelevant if they picked up the tools of insurrection at the event or brought them with them.
