After ALL security video was released, the government prosecution's case fell apart as much of it proved a lie. His sentence was suddenly reduced to time served and he was released. That's one of the more prominent cases out of J6.

The same can be said for the J6 committee for the same reason. Their carefully crafted narrative started falling apart when ALL evidence was available. It is likely one of the motivating reasons the committee members had all of their work shredded and destroyed just before Trump took office.

The case didn't fall apart. Chansley agreed to a plea deal. He plead guilty to one count and the rest were dropped. He was sentenced to 41 months in prison and released 14 months early under Federal regulations and good behavior.
