No. Pregnancy puts a woman's life at risk. Period. How does anyone else have the right to tell her she MUST take that risk, no matter how large or small?

And if the fetus's right to life supersedes the woman's, why is it ok to discard its' right when the woman's is endangered?

The law forces people to take risk every day.

Can a woman in the armed forces disobey a lawful order because there could be personal risk involved?

And did she enlist? She knew the risks. Just a like a woman that chooses to give birth.

The Uniform Code of Military Justice should just about cover it.

Having sex if you know you will die if you have a baby is like enlisting and then claiming you're a pacifist when a war starts, isn't it?

Nope. You give up that autonomy when you enlist.

You dont if you get pregnant.

But your line of thinking becomes clearer and clearer...it's ok to order women what to do.

agreed....but we've already discussed the fact that according to CDC data carrying the child to term is actually a lesser risk to the mother's life than having an abortion (though admittedly neither is a significant risk)........and if getting pregnant creates the risk you can hardly blame the fetus for the fact she got pregnant.....if there is anyone anywhere who cannot be blamed for her getting pregnant, its the fetus.....
