The part Anatta leaves out is that the parties being banned are ones Putin and his cronies set up or took over.
News Flash: 'Anatta' is a Russian Operative.
Nobody "co opted" the parties Zelensky banned. He took the opportunity to eliminate much, if not all, of his political opposition to remaining in power. Yes, some but nowhere near all of the parties banned are pro-Russian. Most are Leftist to radical Leftist parties that oppose Zelensky first and foremost. Several are very nationalist and even anti-Russian. That doesn't change that they oppose Zelensky and have well before this war started.
Zelensky was empowered by way of a US-backed coup. The pro-Russian president was ousted.
There are over 40 active parties in the Ukraine. How is this even close to "much if not all" of the opposition?
The above is a mischaracterization of this. This isn't that kind of power grab. It's a logical move during war.
"US-backed coup" = free, fair, and open elections.
Zelensky won an open, free and fair election, he wasn't installed.
Winning elections isn't something most Conservatives have experience with, so they naturally think any election they don't win is corrupt.
I said ' by way of ' the US-backed coup.

Zelensky followed with an election minus the votes of the pro-Russian separatists.
Are you going to deny that there was a US-backed coup ?
Again, free and fair elections are not a coup attempt.
Zelensky was elected in a free and fair election.
What may have come before Zalensky has nothing to do with the fact that he won an open election, which is something Conservatives haven't done here since 1988.
As I said- Poroshenko split the country. Zelensky was elected without the participation of the pro-Russian electorate.

You mean without the participation of the Russians Putin installed in the Ukrainian territories he invaded and annexed.
Now you're being a dumbass.
The Donbas population are Ukrainians and Russia didn't invade the Donbas.
Russia supported the Donbas as the US supported the heirs of its coup.
' Jack ' is a card-carrying dumbass.

You can't have it both ways, pal.
You can't acknowledge Putin's annexation of Donetsk and Crimea and then dumbly wonder aloud why votes from those regions weren't counted in Zalensky's election.
You know why they weren't included in the election? Because Ukraine didn't control that territory, Putin did.
