Did anyone catch the enthusiastic "Drill, baby, Drill!" chant from the crowd last night?

I thought that was just weird. I understand the need to come around reluctantly to the idea of domestic drilling in order to bridge the gap until we can transition to other energy sources, but to have some sort of maniacal expression while you jump up & down chanting "drill, baby, drill?"

It's like they're from a different planet.

But I guess if the billionaire ex-governor of MASSACHUSETS, can rail against “east coast elites”, than Rudy can be a Texas tough guy. Whatever!

I broke my toe, so I was on some heavy-duty painkillers. I was actually very relaxed; it felt like I was watching a transmission of some angry, alien race on the Sci Fi channel.

Rudy also made a big deal about how Sarah Palin's small town wasn't "cosmopolitan" or "flashy" enought for Obama. I'm not sure if you know much about him, but he used to be the mayor of NYC.

I feel kind of bad, because Cawacko has really been abused, for years now, on this whole reading thing. He was advised on more than one occasion to initiate a class-action lawsuit against the university that graduated him, but I don’t think he ever followed-through. So let’s show him a little sympathy, he’s not a bad guy, just a bad reader, and heck, this is America – where a bad reader can grow up and become President of the United States.
