Palin's hypocrisy!

The video of him talking to the press corps...and that's not corpse, but pronounced "core", after his appearance with 6th graders? I can link you to the proof that he had two teleprompters.
He had them and that is why he said "corpse" rather than corps (pronounced "core" not "corpse") three times. He simply didn't know how to pronounce the word and read it phonetically.

Do you have any idea how much time it takes to memorize a speech? Do we really want our president taking that much time on that activity every time he has to make a speech? Do you really think that teleprompters are BAD things? I personally would MUCH rather have my president write a speech or approve and edit a speech someone else on his staff wrote under his direction, and then, move on to more substantive activities... and when the time came to GIVE the aforementioned speech, have the president read it off a teleprompter.

My point about Palin was not that she had notes written on her hand, but WHAT she had written. They were her core values. It was funny that she needed to write them down to remember them.
Right. Referring to a 'prompter is good, referring to notes is "bad"... got it.

Please! YES! Is there any way to get Obama to do this instead of "working for" America? Seems to me, the more time he spends on memorizing speeches, the less he can actually damage America with his policies, so I am all for it!

This is incredibly lame hypocrisy on your part. An intelligent speaker should be able to talk at length from a basic outline. Here you are complaining about Palin's technique, which indicates her own good preparation and forethought, and propping up The One, who's dialogue is obviously prepared by others and simply delivered by him.

now... if you could find a point where I said that referring to notes was bad...

MY point has always been that the content of the notes was bafflingly inane.... It would be, as others have said, like Obama having "hope and change" written on his palm during the past campaign so that he could remember those points.

bullshit. Obama has to speak at length about a WIDE variety of issues every single week. I want him to get his key points across and a teleprompter assures that he does. Palin gives one speech every six months and used written notes, which I have no problem with either. I only laughed at the content of her crib notes written on her hand... I found it laughable that she needed to write (and revise) those core values of hers on her palm.

You claim, without basis, that these are her core values. A better explanation is that they were last minutes notes upon further reflection, after working on her speech herself.

Regardless, your hypocrisy here is blatant. :)

her core values are being a cunt, yours are being a moron

southerncoward, armchair general afraid to leave his house.

Watching the Q & A, it is quite obvious that the three things written on her hand are her response to the question: what the the top three things that need to get done once the conservatives take back the House and Senate.

The fact that she cannot remember her three top policy goals is hilarious.

Again, this is your biased opinion, yet you champion The One for using the teleprompter as a crutch.

It's not really deniable. Check the video. She can't remember her three top policy goals and needs them written on her hand.

And Obama uses a teleprompter for speeches much the same way that Palin and others use printed out prepared remarks. In what way is a teleprompter different from paper or note cards?

Again, and since you haven't added anything new, for the last time, this is your biased opinion.

A teleprompter runs word by word through a prepared speech while notes form the outline for a speech or discussion generated on the fly. Can you see the difference?

Have you watched the video. Here is the Q & A again. Start watching at the 3:20 mark and pay attention to her response. Notice her looking at her hand at the 4:04 mark and keep in mind that her hand had "tax cuts" (with budget crossed out), "Energy" and "Lift American spirit" on it.

Its hilarious. Palin is such a hardcore politician with such a grand vision for America that she cannot remember her top three policy ideas. :good4u:

That is soooo funny. ROTFLMAO... especally considering all the talk above about how she gave an entire speech based on the few notes on her hand!

it's truely amazing that neocons can not get a rightwing female with an IQ above room temperature. Unlike Bravo and most of the wingnuts here at least she graduated after trying at several Junior colleges to get a degree.
Now on fox it's priceless.

No matter your political persuasion this if Fucking Funny!

The video doesn't document what you claim. She said that budgets had to be reduced and why, then she happened to look down at her hand. As I said before, as a Conservative I think that budget reduction should be the top priority; obviously she thinks the same.

Nice looking legs on her as well. :)

Suuuuuuuuure, pal. It just so happens that her three response to the question were the three things written on her hand. And she "happened to look down at her hand" while responding to that particular question.
