It seems to be that by saying "yes" she was saying that she does support abstinance until marriage education, she went on to say that she does not support explicit sex education.
Bull shit in the ONLY post that shows that what she supports she NEVER said what you are saying. She never says she supports abstinence plus which the eagle forum absolutely opposes. Their position is if you teach don't do but if you do... you are sending contradictory messages. You quote a wiki that does NOT give her direct quotes. Darla's does and it does not say she supports any teaching of birth control in case.
Way too logical. By saying "yes" to a very clear question, somehow, we have no idea what she was really trying to say...
Again.I don't know what the difference between "abstinence only" (it's so funny because I keep having trouble spelling abstinence), and "abstinence education but not abstinence only". What does this mean? We have no way of concluding from this that birth control methods were taught, at all.
And it doesn't matter what Bristol's beliefs are, this is about education not religious beliefs. Either she was educated on birth control or she wasn't.
On the side of "she was" - we have conjecture.
On the side of "she wasn't" - we have the fact that she's a teen mother who didn't finish high school, and her baby's father has no hs degree either.
Way too logical. By saying "yes" to a very clear question, somehow, we have no idea what she was really trying to say...

"Palin in a July 2006 survey was asked if she supported abstinence-only sex education programs instead of "explicit sex education programs, school-based clinics and distribution of contraceptives in schools." Palin wrote, "Yes the explicit sex-ed programs will not find my support." In a radio interview in August 2006, Palin was asked whether programs that discuss condoms are included in "explicit" programs. Palin said no and called discussions of condoms "relatively benign." She added, "I'm pro-contraception and I think kids who may not hear about it at home should hear about it in other avenues. So I am not anti-contraception. But, yeah, abstinence is another alternative that should be discussed with kids. I don't have a problem with that. That doesn't scare me, so it's something I would support also.""
It's scary because I worry about SF on dates. I feel that, due to his daily displaying of an inability to understand yes and no, he should be getting any woman he has relations with to sign a "I consent" form.
His language skills are extrememly problematic.
LMAO... you are the ones that are trying to read into that quote rather than trying to find what her actual position is.
Enjoy the longer quote from Palin. It will show you just how wrong you are.
Palin was asked the question during an Eagle Forum. Do the research and find out what Eagle Forum means by Abstinence Until Marriage and that give you the context of the answer. Eagle Forum believes that teaching about contraceptives sends a contradictory message and believes in Abstinence ONLY so the context of the question in an Eagle Forum was exactly that.
I found that 20 minutes ago. You are a slow googler aren't you?
Why do you believe she told the Eagle forum, a right wing religious organization who supports abstinence only one thing, and this interviewer another thing?

So she lied to the Eagle Forum about Abstinence Until Marriage? So she is a typical politician who will say whatever she needs to to get elected.
It does not matter what Eagle forum believes. It matters what PALIN beleives it to mean. Clearly she does not think teaching kids about contraception is a part of it.
