"Our deficits may finally be coming home to roost"

The Democrats, Obama, was confronted with a historical recession, two wars, near ten percent unemployment, and an unpaided drug prescription plan
and he fucked up the recovery.....(by the way the ten percent unemployment happened AFTER his stimulus plan.......it was under 7 when he got elected).......

It is one economic indicator, by itself doesn't present a total picture, the labor participation rare that conservatives loved to harp on during the Obama years is the same now as it was when Trump took office, does that mean the economy hasn't advanced since then?

Leave the names out of it, just the numbers. How do you define an advancing economy?

"What's pernicious about deficits for conservatives is this. It makes big government cheap. What we're doing, we're turning to the country, the "conservative" administration turns to the country and says: We're going to give you a dollar's worth of government, we're going to charge you seventy five cents for it. And we're going to let your kids pay the other quarter." George Will Nov 30, 2003

The economic trajectory was set during the Bush administration.

Private sector jobs were being lost at a reported 800K per month. It's true that economic policies can take a while manifest benefit.

So the Bush economic climate continued to cast storm clouds on the U.S. economic horizon for a while. But President Obama turned it around, and set into motion the conditions for the prosperity we enjoy even after Obama left office.
