That's another issue, self-confrontation. Since the Boomers are older, it's harder for them to admit when they're wrong. They've had these beliefs for around forty years, their politics have become part of their identity. Whereas a Millennial or a Zoomer is still young enough that this hasn't happened yet. This is part of why the country keeps moving to the Left. Each generation is open to change, becomes liberal, gets old, becomes close-minded and scared of changed, then the next generation becomes the new Liberals.

One other nitpick...

76 million people would be about 25% of the US population, not 44%. Maybe it refers to the voting population?

One of the 27 wonderful things Boomers did was...take polio vaccines? Jonas Salk wasn't a Boomer. He was born in 1914.

Boomers didn't invent the vaccines, they just took them.

Also, this is a weird thing: "Baby boomers benefited from the welfare state, but they also proved that it stifled initiative, created a culture of dependence and was unsustainable." Wait - what? So they benefited from it, but claim it created a culture of dependency? So....that would mean the Boomers are the ones who created that culture of dependency. And it doesn't even exist....WTF?

No one is entitled to an opinion. Entitlements are earned, and opinions are not. Specifically, self-preservation...which is inherently a Boomer trait. "I got mine so fuck you", "greed is good", "he who dies with the most toys wins" are how Boomers fucked everything up.

You did not put money into a "fund" that scrupulous accountants watched for you until you were ready to withdraw it.

You paid for the retirement of the generations before you, in the expectation that generations behind you would pay to take care of you, in turn. That is exactly how SS works, moocher. That is a pure form of social welfare.

Sure there is. Lazy ass Millennial's like yourself need to pick up the load. Pay your fair share. Get a fucking job. Become productive members of society, not the blood sucking leeches you are. The only bunch in your entire generation of any worth are the ones that served when called upon. I will always respect those millennial's.
