coakley represent the arrogance of the current dem party. hopefully this is wake up call to them or they will find themselves in same situation this fall.
You're jesting, but just tune into Rush, Hannity & Dixie tomorrow.
This probably won't be such a bad thing for Obama. If she did squeak out a win, I doubt they'd heed the lesson much.
A republican stratigist on CNN is saying that Brown winning this election could force Obama to center his administration.
Washington (CNN) – Republican strategist Alex Castellanos suggested Tuesday that if Martha Coakley loses Tuesday, it might actually help Democrats in the midterm elections.
"This may be a good day for Barack Obama in the sense that instead of waiting for November of this coming year to really lose his Democratic majority in the House, he may in effect lose it now," Castellanos said.
"Democrats may start moving away from him and he may have to govern in a more bipartisan way, moving away from the left more towards the center and some conservative ideals. It may center this administration."
All I know is this is the SECOND time that crazy ass healthcare has hurt the sitting president. You would think that the Dems would learn.
coakley official concedes. foxnews and boston globe are officially calling it for brown
Not looking good for Coakley, though Cambridge currently has only 3% reporting and should significantly go to Coakley. Boston is at 52& reporting and if Coakely support holds up it could be close.
If Brown wins the House will vote for the Senate bill without amendments.
If Brown wins the House will vote for the Senate bill without amendments.
All I know is that CNN and Yahoo are reporting that house leaders are saying the Senate bill is better than no healthcare at all.A couple of the moderates said not even an hour ago no way in hell they vote for it.

the AP is calling it for Brown.
If they do that, then they will not have learned the lesson of today.... and they will get pummeled in November.

Well that's what's going to happen if Coakley loses. The Mass State Legislature will drag their feet long enough for the House Dems in DC to approve the Senate version before they certify the results. Repubs will cry fowl and everyone will roll their eyes knowing the Repubs would do the same damned thing if the tables were turned. All I know is that CNN and Yahoo are reporting that house leaders are saying the Senate bill is better than no healthcare at all.
