Official Special MA Senate Election Thread

I'm calling it for Brown.

As consolation for your loss, we would like to offer you this Weighted Companion Cube. The Weighted Companion Cube will never leave you and/or try to stab you in the back.

Holy crap.... this might actually friggin happen.

CLEARLY this is purely a referendum on Obama. Coakley ran a strong campaign.

the last bit was just for lorax

You're jesting, but just tune into Rush, Hannity & Dixie tomorrow.

This probably won't be such a bad thing for Obama. If she did squeak out a win, I doubt they'd heed the lesson much.

Not looking good for Coakley, though Cambridge currently has only 3% reporting and should significantly go to Coakley. Boston is at 52& reporting and if Coakely support holds up it could be close.

A republican stratigist on CNN is saying that Brown winning this election could force Obama to center his administration.

Washington (CNN) – Republican strategist Alex Castellanos suggested Tuesday that if Martha Coakley loses Tuesday, it might actually help Democrats in the midterm elections.

"This may be a good day for Barack Obama in the sense that instead of waiting for November of this coming year to really lose his Democratic majority in the House, he may in effect lose it now," Castellanos said.

"Democrats may start moving away from him and he may have to govern in a more bipartisan way, moving away from the left more towards the center and some conservative ideals. It may center this administration."

All I know is this is the SECOND time that crazy ass healthcare has hurt the sitting president. You would think that the Dems would learn.

Saving lives is worth losing votes. Those who oppose UHC are intrinsically evil and shouldn't be allowed to vote.
