Obama: Most people confident he was born in Hawaii

=christiefan915;800891]Having a bad day, Mr. Grinch?

Focus like a laser beam, yurtie. Obama released a legal, official and state-authorized document of his birth. I and others accept it as true, untampered evidence. It's birthers who want more, not me. Why do you expect me to jump on the birther train when I already believe Obama's a citizen? Why aren't you asking birthers to provide something in writing to suggest Obama wasn't born here? If you don't believe him, then prove he's lying. It's that simple.

Frankly, I didn't really care if Obama released another document, but now I'm happy he's not caving in to the nut jobs.

wow...you really don't get it. once again -- why do YOU have a problem with birthers wanting to see a copy of the original? i am NOT asking you to jump on the birther bandwagon. what does it matter to YOU if someone wants to see the BEST evidence?

This is pretty funny coming from a lawyer. Do you disagree with the courts? I didn't demand anything, I asked that birthers produce a piece of paper that flatly contradicts Obama's official BC. But the only piece of "hard" evidence they ever produced was the fake copy from Orly. Everything else is just words. Why shouldn't I want to see physical evidence? It's the same thing you want from Obama. Why does your desire for another BC trump mine for wanting evidence from birthers?

Maybe you should investigate the legal resources available to you and figure out a way to get standing, instead of putting another burden of proof on Obama.

i'm a meter maid you silly tool. and what i said is completely sound. you DEMAND birthers provide proof....YET....you agree with the courts that they cannot get the best evidence, the orginal or copy of his original b/c. you're illogical. if you want them to prove something, you must allow them access to all evidence.

so you get to make up what is satisfactory and what isn't? lmao....why are you so afraid to admit its your OPINION and now that the law says?

No...I get to make up NOTHING.

Proof was provided to and authenticated by those who decide what is "satisfactory".

They decided your allegations are nonsense.

It's hilarious...Obama provides proof and birthers like the Yurtard simply move the goalposts...

When does it finally fall to birthers to prove they've got proof Obama isn't a citizen?

1. why do you lie that i'm a birther?

2. what goal post has been moved?

3. and once again a liberal nutcase demands proof, yet does not want birthers to have access to the best evidence. dumb, dumb, dumb

1...because you're a birther

2...Obama provided proof of citizenship which was properly authenticated by those in position to do so...detractors then moved the goalpost by claiming what he had previously provided wasn't sufficient.

3...if Birthers "best evidence" is a document none of you claim to have seen, then your case must be pretty weak.

ZappasGuitar;800915]1...because you're a birther

i am? what is a birther to you?

wrong again. the only goal post was that obama PROVE his citizenship. that has never changed among birthers or birther curious. if i asked you to prove a claim and you give me weak evidence, asking you for better evidence is not moving the goal post. its clear you just use buzz words without understanding what they mean.

3...if Birthers "best evidence" is a document none of you claim to have seen, then your case must be pretty weak.

this is really a dumb comment. what is the best evidence that exists that proves obama is a citizen? the colb? newspaper quotes? or the original b/c?

Birthers get so defensive about being called birthers...
Yeah, I know Chris Matthews gets pissed.......but like Chris said,If it exists, why not put it out?”
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Me?....I'm just curious like Damo, as to why we aren't allowed to see the bc....but I don't lose sleep over it....

It's funny that you always bring up Matthews. I guess the lobotomy has hurt your memory...

You can't talk about "birthers" without talking about probably the most liberal, pinhead, Democrat birther of them all can you....Mr. Chris Matthews.....
Hes famous.....

I remember so my memory is just fine.....
Actually, only those that can't remember him,
such as yourself....would be suspected victims of a lobotomy.....

If Matthews is a liberal, he's a LINO. He called himself more conservative than people think. Only in your bobblehead is the idea he's a hero to us.

"Despite having worked for Democrats, Matthews has said, "I'm more conservative than people think I am. ... I voted for George W. in 2000."[7] Salon.com has called him the "most conservative voice" on MSNBC's primetime lineup.[8] Matthews has been accused by liberal media watchdogs[9] of having panels of guests that skew to the right and of supporting Republicans in his own questions and comments.[10][11] Conversely, he is also often criticized by conservatives for his opposition to the Iraq War among other stances he took against the Bush administration."

Progressive organization Media Matters for America named Matthews its 2005 Misinformer of the Year, in part for statements he made in support of President George W. Bush.[20]

On January 9, 2008, the morning after Hillary Clinton's surprise victory in the New Hampshire Democratic presidential primary, Matthews appeared on MSNBC's Morning Joe program and said of Clinton,
“ I'll be brutal, the reason she's a U.S. senator, the reason she's a candidate for president, the reason she may be a front-runner is her husband messed around. That's how she got to be senator from New York. We keep forgetting it. She didn't win there on her merit.[21][22]

Matthews has said, "I'm more conservative than people think I am. ... I voted for George W. in 2000." ...

Voted for Bush in 2000? Well there you go...I never claimed Matthews was stupid....
I said he was a liberal Democrat, making him a pinhead.....that description of him is accurate and still stands....because he is to the right of Castro and Marx doesn't make him a Conservative.....

"most conservative voice" on MSNBC's primetime lineup.

No shit....what does that prove....Compared to Maddow, Ed Shultz, and Olbermann, anyone with a functioning brain would seem more conservative....its all relative....

Matthews has been accused by liberal media watchdogs[9] of having panels of guests that skew to the right and of supporting Republicans

Yeah...and G.W. has been accussed of not being a Conservative....so what...
I take it this is your idea of a joke....implying Matthews ever had a Republican guest or a real Conservative on the show is laughable...

And his remark about Hillary is just his way of showing his overwhelming support of Obama, the guy that made his thighs tingle and twitch.....clearly implying a sexual emotion...

So your crap post isn't even a good tapdance to mask the facts we all know to be true about Mr. Democrat Matthews.....

He wouldn't last a week on MSNBC if he didn't toe the liberal line 99% of the time

Again, when have I said "must"? I have said throughout that he "should" rather than leaving it as it is. Although Arizona just passed a law that will require it. Let's see how that goes.

It's not a law yet, the governor has not signed it.

Its clearly unconstitutional as it would prevent anyone from states with laws such as Hawaii from recieving Arazona's vote.

for people like christie who keep asking birthers to prove obama was born elsewhere.....why is it you have a problem with obama releasing a copy of his original b/c?

i mean...you want proof....yet, you have no problem agreeing with the courts, that birthers can't actually access obama's best evidence, yet you demand, birthers provide proof, while saying they can't have the best proof.

why is that?

The only problie I have with it is that the AG of Hawaii has said that there is no provision in the law allowing for the origional to be released.

fair enough....but then, how can you demand birther's provide proof, when they legally cannot access the best evidence?

jarod:

what is the best evidence for proving where obama was born?

no it wouldn't. obama can get a copy of his original at anytime....further, i believe the law allows a COLB if a the original no longer exists.
