I would say, way more time than necessary has been spent on this issue. Had Obama not been born in the US the Republicans would have 20000 attorney's in court daily to have him evicted from Pennsylvania Avenue.

You don't understand. I, personally, believe the Hawaiian BC, the newspaper announcements, the American parent, etc. are all proof that Obama is a citizen. I don't need him to produce anything more because I'm satisfied with what I've seen.

Birthers like Berg and the others all got their cases tossed for lack of standing. Last year Orly Taitz tried to put one over on us with that phony BC from Kenya. Incidents like these, and a whole lot of supposition and conjecture, are what birthers provide as "proof". Do you understand why that makes us believers cynical about their claims?

What you seem incapable of understanding is that Obama has ALREADY PROVIDED PROOF of his place of birth.

That it wasn't sufficient to satisfy some nutjobs out to discredit Obama and desperately grasping at any straws that come along isn't Obama's problem.

Why do you expect me to jump on the birther train when I already believe Obama's a citizen? Why aren't you asking birthers to provide something in writing to suggest Obama wasn't born here? If you don't believe him, then prove he's lying. It's that simple.

This is pretty funny coming from a lawyer. Do you disagree with the courts? I didn't demand anything, I asked that birthers produce a piece of paper that flatly contradicts Obama's official BC. But the only piece of "hard" evidence they ever produced was the fake copy from Orly. Everything else is just words. Why shouldn't I want to see physical evidence? It's the same thing you want from Obama. Why does your desire for another BC trump mine for wanting evidence from birthers?

Maybe you should investigate the legal resources available to you and figure out a way to get standing, instead of putting another burden of proof on Obama.
