No more Kneeling for NFL

If I required talent, I would have thread banned you. I don't have any requirements, so go ahead and make an ass out of yourself.

You wear pink underwear anyway, sans any talent. Physically or intellectually.

Look here, shitstain. More standing!

The first amendment is about government not talking away your right to speech. It doesn't say your employer can't do that. Most of us don't work in jobs where millions are watching of course but NFL players are free to work elsewhere if they don't like the rule.

I understand what it means but when America's #1 past time actually votes to penalize Americans for exercising their 1st Amendment rights then it's all down hill from here.

Actually baseball is considered the number one past time but the NFL is the number one sport right now. Ultimately it's not good for business and once Trump got involved, they had to deal with it. Not saying this is the right way but they had to do something

I really hope even more players kneel. Screw the owners. You certainly can't fire them all or how would you make your money and penalizing them 15 yards would result in endless penalties back and forth until all penalties are enforced leaving no time to play the game.

Now that sounds like something worth watching.

Kap was kneeling before Trump came along and pitched a fit.

Was he?

I seem to recall he opted out of his contact (likely because he thought he'd be released by the team anyway) in March 2017.

Trump expressed what many Americans thought. Don't you care about their First Amendment rights?

I don't hear people talking about baseball other than the odd score here and there but NFL? Holy hell they never shut up about it.

There is nothing new about lefties dreaming of eating the golden goose that lays the golden eggs that they survive on.

No question. I was just being a technical sports fan but there's no doubt football is the current number one sport (although it faces definite challenges going forward with health concerns, kids not playing the game etc.). But they have done an amazing job making the sport relevant year round
