No more Kneeling for NFL

Enforced patriotism...wasn't there a post the other day about the 1st Amendment going the way of the dodo?

The first amendment is about government not talking away your right to speech. It doesn't say your employer can't do that. Most of us don't work in jobs where millions are watching of course but NFL players are free to work elsewhere if they don't like the rule.

It's telling that all these alleged champions of free speech seem to be OK with a judge ruling that Trump cannot exercise control over who comments on his Twitter account.

It isn't really that uncommon for people to have to conform to certain standards while on the job. Many places require uniforms, so the people on the job do not have the freedom to wear their own choice of clothing during the time they are on the job. Many places prohibit foul language while at work. The freedom still exists, just not at work. There is always the freedom to work somewhere else...

Just stay in the locker room, fucking idiot.

It is a fucking business disguised as a sport. It has nothing to do with the military. Why do tax payers buy these billionaires stadiums and then pay taxes so the military will show , march and have flybys?

The Kapernak noise is all about protesting blacks being shot and abused by police. That did not change. It has nothing to do with the flag or anthem. Trump made this shit up and many Americans bought in. Is thinking and finding out what it is about too fucking hard for you guys?

The answer, no more time wasted at sporting events with anthems and marches. Just play the game. Wait til most of a team stays in the locker room. Then you guys will cry about that too.

The players have no way out except complete capitulation to oppressive authority. That will cost many their self respect.

They can always get a job somewhere else, right? I am pretty sure Burger king and wal mart require uniforms and speech standards though, so more oppression...
