Mueller's investigation of Trump is going too far (CNN)

What if they uncover a crooked real estate deal from 2012 or 2014 upon which the Statute of Limitations has not run out and we find ourselves with an unconvicted criminal as our sitting President?

One can imagine the negative publicity that would generate not only for him personally, but for the GOP if they just shrugged their shoulders and did nothing. Given that his current approval rating stands at an abysmal 33%, it's no stretch of the imagination to assume that it would be somewhere south of 30% after such a revelation.

So what does a Republican House majority do then? Ignore it? Cross their fingers and pray that there are as many gullible idiots voting in the next election as in the last one?

It could get very interesting.

In several different ways.

You just admitted Mueller is fishing. Just yesterday Rosenstein said there would be no fishing expedition---tantamount to saying Mueller is limited to Russians/Russian collusion.

That would mean Rosenstein lied, if Mueller's investigation starts sifting through Trump's past business for something/anything.

That has blow back written all over it.

Doesn't matter if the date was one day before inauguration. Since all this Russia Russia Russia Russia shit from the Democrat Party started the day after the election, do you really suppose that Trump- even if he was Mr. Crooked since the day he was born, would make some crooked deals with the Democrat Party watching his every move?

Face it- your Party acted all emotional and totally screwed this up for themselves, lol

How, in your midget brain, did you arrive at the moronic conclusion that I "admitted" anything???

All I did was pose a hypothetical situation then asked a question based on it. Now you're claiming I "admitted Mueller is fishing[".

Your desperation to shill for that slob truly stinks of desperation.

There's a theory that Mueller sees the whole thing as weak Tea: so he is purposely putting his finger on the scales so when he exonerates Trump, democrats won't be able say much about it.

That won't work lol. They'll still whine.

But the unfairness has been recognized by even some respected Never Trump Rumpers. So any indictment that doesn't rest on rock solid evidence---or doesn't relate directly to Russia and the election is going to cause a political blow back.

Say for example Mueller uncovers a Trump crooked real estate deal from 2007. Impeachment is predicated on high crimes and misdemeanors *while in office* so democrats may wind up shooting themselves in the foot, politically, if they try and use that to get him out of office.

But I think they are past caring about politics or blow back. They want rid of Trump and they want to put down his movement, regardless of the political cost.
Whose theory is that, if it was weak tea Mueller wouldn't keep hiring crackpot lawyers for his team, keep wishing.

But heres the great thing about our system, he can't fish, either he has evidence of a crime and searches for evidence to prove that, or he doesn't.

Nomad's obscene assertion that trump was involved in some sort of illegal business deal shows proof he has no idea who Trump is, his legal savvay, nor does he care.
Nomad and the other little girls on here just want to whine, and kick, and scream until someone responds to them, which you did.

I'd be ashamed of myself if I was them but something tells me they are not, they live their lives like this, "whhhaaaa whaaaaa listen to me listen to me, someone listen to me" lololol

There are some class A felonies that have no statue of limitations in the State of New York.

If during his investigation of possible collusion, Mueller uncovers financial crimes, he is within his right and his duty, to report any and all findings to Congress and Congress is obligated to release that report to the public.

Whether or not Trump was/is stupid enough to break the law or not, is beside the point.

So far, he hasn't demonstrated a great deal of common sense in that regard anyhow, given the way he personally dictated a bald-faced lie for his son to tell the public.

If Mueller uncovers financial crimes by Trump, the press and the public will find out and it will be discussed over and over and over again, ad infinitum, until every adult, child and family pet will be familiar with the tiniest details.

At that point, the GOP is going to have a problem on its hands.

Lol, remember why Clinton was impeached? They get Trump under oath, he's done.

Thank you for once again proving my assertion that you are immature and childish, by providing yet another example of it. :good4u:

Speaking of that, why is the grand jury empaneled from D.C. with its 0.4% Trump voters and not New York? Wouldn't any of the alleged/imaginary crimes committed by Trump have been committed in New York and not D.C.?

Do you have it in you to admit Mueller is stacking the deck in this witch hunt?

So you admit that Republicans cannot be impartial and that empaneling a Grand Jury from an area with more Republican voters would result in a better outcome for Trump?

Thanks.

I realized this is a fake position. ( but illustrative)
The black king was in check already from the rook or the queen, and would have had to move out of check.

Unless it's some kind of discovered attack ( moving one piece opens up an attack from another) only 1 piece gives checkmate.
The other piece(s) prevent the king from fleeing out of check.

solve.
Remove the white queen from the board and it's now a legitimate checkmate.
white king prevents black king's flight from the white (checking) rook.

Grand juries are typically empaneled from the same vicinity as where the alleged/imaginary crime was committed. And I was looking for some justification for it besides Mueller stacking the deck.

Can't you at least make something up lol?
