Do you see the current economic condition many European countries are in? Not a whole there to envy.
Bullshit. Government entitlements and paying working people a decent wage is not the same thing.

The average french and Italian family have twice the wealth of the American family!
We do have more rich, like those of us who got lucky enough to trip and land in the 1 percent.
But the $6/hr number that YOU made up is arbitrary. How about the fat cats at the top make a little less and wait a little bit longer to be mega wealthy? Can't do that....can we?
And what good has it done us? Seriously...we have crappier products that are virtually disposable and more people.living in the dregs of our society....the ONLY.people it has benefited is the.people who were already wealthy to begin with...and a select few who learned how to nail shit together that had never been nailed together before....for the vast majority of the people....it's been a burden.
$12 and indexed to CPIWhat should it be raised to? I'd have no objections to raising it to $10/hour. But beyond that, I think we're going to see some unintended consequences, particularly in parts of the country where the cost of living is well below the national average.
which one are you?
Which one am I? Neither.

Bullshit? Are we living in alternate universes? Why is the EU on the verge of breaking up if the economy is doing so well over there? Are you saying Greece, Spain, Italy etc. are in better financial condition than the U.S.?
How about the ones not on your list? The REASON they are in such dire straits is because they AREN'T the United States of Europe. They consolidated their monetary system, but left the poor countries to rot.
They are no where near breaking up!Bullshit? Are we living in alternate universes? Why is the EU on the verge of breaking up if the economy is doing so well over there? Are you saying Greece, Spain, Italy etc. are in better financial condition than the U.S.?

Drama queen much?
The middle classes? You're a moron. An influx of extra cash to allow people to.live in their OWN FUCKING COUNTRY is not the equivalent of $100k/year. That's the problem with ignorant fucks like you....you don't think there's any solution besides allowing greedy rich fucks to attain as.much as they can while the masses suffer.
There's only so much room at the top and something's got to give. The poor and working class can't afford anymore, and the VITAL middle class is shrinking at a frightening pace. The money is going into the pockets of the Greedy Bastards at the top of the food chain. But even they have to realize that if all the levels below them collapse, then their wealth isn't worth squat anyway.
I have a dream, where if you don't have an actual skill, you don't have any job at all. And I'm proud to say we're fast approaching that kind of world.
Do you see the current economic condition many European countries are in? Not a whole there to envy.
.While I would not be shocked if the EU doesn't last yes I was a little over the top. A break-up is not imminent but it's been mentioned so it's been heard on (at least a few) people's lips.
Cawacko is wrong on the face of his statement, he kinda sorta heard a right wing hack say it on fox.You can thank the hefty contributions of the shennanigans our banks and Wall St. pulled via the housing market debacle for that. Remember who cooked the books for Greece to join the EU?
But to get off that detour....how in God's name can you be against a COLA in the minimum wage?
