Everyone does. The only people who don't are the lobbyists for Big Pharma & other industries who would lose $$$ if it's legal.

But guess who the admin cares about more?

Actually, there are small growers who don't want it legalized because then the business will be taken over by tobacco companies and the small growers will be shoved out.

In terms of letting local jurisdictions decide (which is what the mayors in the article are pushing ) - my county won't allow any medical marijuana dispensaries; if it's under local control, can't imagine them allowing legal pot....

This is plain lunacy. How does the Pharma industry stand to lose money if pot is legal? You aren't going to stop taking your alprazolam.

No...but you may not need your Zoloft anymore....or your Ativan.....or as many prescription pain killers....or the anti-nausea medicines for people on Chemo....I could go.on...

That's hilarious.

That's actually one of the funniest things I've read on here.

Pharma stands to lose billions. Billions.

Yep, they charge 930.00 for anti nausea my doctor prescribed during chemo, dissolved on your tongue, instant relief, but the headache I suffered later was worse than th nausea.

I would take a hit or two of my Old AK and in 20 minutes I was not only not nauseated but hungry.

CNN did a great special on the pot clinics out in CA a few weeks ago. The people who use them have such a wide variety of ailments & illnesses, and it was pretty unanimous that pot worked better for them, with fewer side effects and a lot less cost.
