It is time just to admit DeSantis does not have the evidence

A Democrat governor would never get away with this, "Don't bother me with questions" crap. Their own supporters would be all over them for answers on any controversy he or she engendered.

Woke books show kids they have to hate because of skin color.

Wonder how this guy voted on desegregation?

He voted against it.

Thurman did, Biden wasn't a senator then.

Strom Thurmond switched to the Republican Party in 1964, before Biden was even out of college.

And ditto for grade school level math books as well. Did they show a math problem on a BLACKboard instead of a dry erased WHITE board? Did any illustrations of teachers/parents/kids include non-whites?

You're 100% correct. School board meetings as well as committees charged with selecting the learning materials should be open and available for public comment.

But I am not surprised a lot of Republicans think public agencies and commissions (if they are led by Republicans) should be able to make public policy decisions in secret.

Bitch! You're talking about a process that has been going on in every state every year for a century or more. Fuck off with the ridiculous bullshit all hollerin' about a new policy to keep crap that doesn't belong there out of the textbooks. If leftist shitbags hadn't put the garbage in there in the 1st place, there would be nothing to this.
Too bad Covid stay-at-home schooling exposed the deception to parents nationwide, huh?

The textbook review process went on when Crist was governor, Chiles, Graham, Skeletor, Jeb!, and every governor the state ever had.

The state sets the standards and approves textbooks according to it.

So which books that were rejected are you concerned about...and why? (Is he getting political points for a potential run against Joe in 2024?;)) There's nothing wrong with the Parental Rights Eduation Bill...or do you have issues with that as well? Let us know how you really feel... Are you a Floridian? Seminole or Gator?

I'm not concerned about any of the books because I seriously doubt they contain what DeShameless claims the do.

This will soon come out after every news source in the country and some outside the country scrutinize them.

And once again, toadboy will come out looking like a fool after exposing himself as the political grandstanding hack he is.

I have been a Floridian since 1965 and neither a Seminole nor a Gator.

Hurricane?

So it is only the new editions that have these secret messages that DeSantis cannot show us? All of a sudden, half the textbooks were totally rewritten to contain secret messages, that only DeSantis can see?

Is this some sort of attempt to drive DeSantis crazy? Why would they give him all these textbooks, and no one else?
Love your Strawman arguments don't you Walty.

Textbook Adoption: Florida adopts textbooks at the state level. Each school year, no later than April 15, the commissioner of education appoints state instructional materials committees composed of individuals actively engaged in teaching, or in the supervision of teaching, in the public elementary, middle, or high schools and representing the major fields and levels in which instructional materials are used in the public schools
(FLA. STAT. ANN. § 1006.29)

I think personnel decisions maybe, like whether to keep a problem teacher on, or fire him/her, should probably be private except for the outcome. But otherwise, if what they are considering involves taxpayer money, then the taxpayers should be able to observe and/or have access to the decision-making process. For instance, with the textbooks in question, why not provide the titles, publisher, and objectionable material? What are they afraid of?

Well I'm glad to know that you're not concerned... Because there really isn't an issue... Floridians should be glad they're getting new textbooks... that's awesome... And textbooks are accepted and rejected all the time... We all want our kids to have the best available..right? I wasn't prying ...just curious...when I asked if you were a Seminole or a Gator we just happen to have both in our family...;)

DeSantis' spokesmodel has stated that he will not release any evidence, so it is time for everyone to admit that DeSantis will not release the evidence of his claims about math.

Some will say that DeSantis is so holy that he does not need evidence, his word is just to be trusted. The fact is that DeSantis is one of the slimiest politicians around, and in my book needs more evidence...

This is something that should be easily proven, but slimy DeSantis refuses to prove his bizarre claims.

Americans hold our teachers in high regard. 75% consider teachers very high, or high honesty or ethical standards. DeSantis' claim they are systemically grooming children for sex, without any evidence is backed up by his reputation as a smily lawyer who was nearly disbarred for committing a fraud upon the court, and a slimy politician who "interviewed" young women for his transition team.

Well color me shocked...SHOCKED I SAY...that another GOP shill once again made up some ignorant bullshit, then when the Left called them on it and asked for some actual EVIDENCE of what the aforementioned GOP shill claimed had occurred, the devoted shill refused to back up his claim with some actual facts.

I got all kinds of links, boy. What do you want to know? :D

Be advised: I do not have a link to "Why is OP a faggot?" :dunno:

So you've got the links?

FANTASTIC!

How about posting a link so that I might see the actual questions in the rejected Florida Math Texts that were supposed to teach CRT to children?

According to DeSantis, it is a huge deal. He claimed there were all sorts of horrible things in the math books. Are you saying he was lying?

I'll say it.

DeSantis is LYING!

He made a claim and then when asked to back it up, he RAN AWAY!
