Is Trump being baited, again?

I agree that Mueller in cahoots with the media and the democrat party is trying to goad Trump into firing him.

Mueller has nothing and the longer this goes on, the worse it looks for Mueller. We are coming up on a year that Mueller was appointed. I think he is praying that Trump fires up and that is why he is upping the ante. If he is fired, he becomes a martyr rather than a willing participant in a witch hunt.

Trump really needs to resist his impulses and not fire Mueller. However, Trump should never answer the question as to whether he will or won't because it will drive the Deep State batshit.

Well, Mueller officially burnt the bridge with that little stunt yesterday and if I was Trump I would no longer cooperate.

But yeah, there’s definitely a political risk in Mueller’s gestapo like tactics.

So what? There’s attorney/client confidence except when there’s not?

I don’t care who appointed who, Mueller is crossing some serious lines.

You clearly don't understand Attorney-CLIENT privilege. It is not absolute, there are reasons it can be breached. There are very likely pieces of evidence in Cohen's office that are NOT Attorney-Client communication. There is a legal way for the United States Attorneys office to sort it out and hash it out with a Judge.

I hope Mueller subpoena's Rump to testify tomorrow.

That's an interesting article. I may get the book:

Attorney client privilege, really simply client privilege, is not absolute, it needs to be hashed out in court most times. If the Justice Department follows proper procedure, it will not be violated.
it's absolute. the exception is if they can convince a judge a crime is imminent ( including destroying doc) and a warrant is the onlly waay to secure evidence. Otherwise it's in force

The ReTrumplicans will never accept what a corrupt crook Rump is, he is everything they claimed HRC was.

Mueller had to know this is an escalation. He knows Trump can't fire him ( the Swamp would have conniptions) .+ He just does WTF he pleases where he pleases because Rosenweasel won't limit him

Yes this is bait. It makes it look like to a casual observer Trump must be hiding something,-
or why the search warrant.

Mueller's history is one of prosecutorial abuse-same thing he's trying here.

agreed. Mueller is a snake, and Andrew Weissman his attack dog.
Mueller wants his pound of flesh -he'll go back 10 years in bank records to find it (Russian collusion?)

There's nothing fair about a virulently partisan team of investigators and prosecutors seeking to destroy the presidency of their political opponent based upon trumped-up charges paid for by the politician they wanted to win.
And, these former prosecutors are mistaken if they think Mueller is burnishing America's reputation for justice and fairness by prosecuting individuals for dubious crimes such as making false, but immaterial statements about non-criminal conduct and for offenses that have nothing to do with alleged Trump-Russian election interference, which is the actual purpose of the investigation

1) Why do you want Mueller limited?
2) What evidence do you have of overreach?
3) Did you know this raid was not conducted by Mueller?
4) Please tell me about Mueller's history of prosecutorial overreach?

What was your take on Ken Star's whitewater investigation?

I see... Please show me how you figure Mueller is beyond his scope?
why don't you defend a special prosecutor? Do you think Ken Starr went beyond the pale? I do.
I think Mueller is doing the same -and no i can't point to exact references -it's SECRET, but we know for sure he went digging into old bank records.

Do you think Putin and Trump had an agreement for collusion 10 years ago? so why go there?
Its manifest Mueller is on a deep sea fishing expedition

Ken Star got approval from Janet Reno along the way to expand his scope. I think its funny how they started with financial crimes and ended with a sex scandal, but thats how it went. Republican all supported it.

Mueller has gotten approval for expansions from Rump appointee Rob Rosenstein, and I strongly suspect this will end with much more than a sex scandal.
