Is the left going to marginalize themselves out of existence?

Better than stuck in the middle.

You guys have almost no beach. How sad.

Well of course, only the leftwing elite socialists can afford beachfront property while their constituency rots in liberal ghettos.

Besides, damn sand gets in everything.

LOL

Find one post, PMP. I never said the left or Dems would be able to block any appointments or anything like that.

You are truly addled, old man. Like Trump, you just make shite up.

so where are your successes in the last three weeks?......what is the boon the left is supposedly getting from "chaos fatigue".....is that just another way of saying your protesters are overworked and need some time off?.......

Couldn't find anything, eh PMP?

Dishonest to the core. You are such a liar.

You're dreaming. The GOP is going to get trounced in the next 2 elections.

Just a few weeks in, and Americans are dismayed by this epic clown show.
You're smoking crack, liberal. Get your nose out of Mother Jones' ass. This country will be great again with, or without, you fucking diaper dopers. ;)

The Berkley riots were not leftists, they were anarchists. I would bet most of the folks rioting didn't even vote. You want to know who they are, get on twitter and look up the hashtag #ANTIFA or #Ungovernable or #DisruptJ20. They make fun of the liberals too and basically call them a bunch of pansies for not punching Nazi's in the face. Why do people not look shit up before they start spewing dumb shit?
Any one person or group that gets that stupid automatically defaults to the Left. You're all in the same camp.

The Republican party has undergone a reactionary and fear induced lurched to the extreme right, and quickly. A gradual and glacial paced movement to the left is a megatrend that will not ever cease, so long as science, reason and peaceful institutions control our thoughts and actions.

Sorry, country people, the left is anything but marginalized. I suggest you gobble some antidepressants, turn off Fox News, get back to your plows and leave the important civic minded and larger issues to the people with the capability of attending to them..
Is this opposite day or something? Nothing you just said seems to be based in reality. More than 200 counties that Obama won twice voted for Trump... Is this really evidence of a Republican party that has lurched to "the extreme right"?? Or is it evidence that Democrats have abandoned their more reasonable constituents?

It's amazing that the same people who used to claim that Trump "isn't even a Republican", but rather a populist [i.e. moderate] with a reverence for America, is now the leader of a party on the "extreme right"?? I'm sorry, but I can only laugh at your false simplification. Many in the Conservative camp are 'Never Trumpers' because they don't feel that he's even one of them, nor do they think he'll have fidelity to their main objectives, and they were largely pushed aside in this last election. This group consists of many of the very same people that have often been labeled by the Left as "the Far Right" (people such as Glenn Beck, etc). Trump was deemed by some to be "another New York Liberal", "a friend of Schumer's", and a "Democrat in disguise"...

In many ways, the Republican party is split into three subgroups, and cannot in any serious way be defined by only one of these three groups right now: 1) The Establishment 2) Constitutional Conservatives 3) Populist-Nationalists. And this collection of subgroups came about gradually, not suddenly. It's only become more noticeable now because of Trump and his victory in the 2016 Election.

In what universe has the Democrat Party not been decimated? They only hold 18 governorships, 6 state trifectas, and have no majority in any branch of the federal government. Geographically, the Democratic party has been marginalized to pockets of the coasts... The state of California helped Hillary win the popular vote, but nothing in national politics is decided by the national popular vote, so that number is irrelevant. Politically, they are marginalized in an environment where they continue to hold strong majorities in the mainstream media, academia, and Hollywood, which normally gives them a HUGE advantage over Republicans, and they have nothing noteworthy to show for it!

Also, Conservatives, by definition, are the gradual ones. The Left is the one actively and quickly trying to redefine traditional norms and putting the onus on everyone else to catch up with them or be left behind. Their failed policies may have woken people out of their slumber, but only because their policies genuinely hurt people, not because of the president's likeability. It's why Jimmy Carter lost re-election, and the last two Democrat presidents immediately lost control of the House of Representatives and never regained it back during their presidencies. The last two Republican presidents to lose re-election were "Establishment" types who rode other people's coattails, and people had more difficulty connecting with. Trump not only doesn't fit that category at all, but he has one thing that'll ensure his victory in 2020... he isn't afraid of the mainstream media.

I'm sure good liberals such as yourself are denouncing these groups and are calling for freedom of speech and support for Milo right? Oh wait, no support or dissovowing of these groups. We all know the left is now in support of these groups, and have turned on their own former beliefs. The camouflage is off, we know what you are now.

And its pretty scarey uglyl.

Awesome read.

Completely and totally ignorant. Quite obviously you know very little about politics .. or life .. or common sense.

Here you are gloating about the least popular president in American history who was meet with millions of people all over the world protesting against him even before he took office .. and you think that's a good thing. :0) Obviously you lack the intelligence to see that it is you and your mindless cult who are being marginalized.

Even politicians and millions of people in ENGLAND reject the stench of your president there. Parliament had to debate whether to let that asswipe in.

How long do you think it will be before the Republican Party turns on the most hated man on the planet? Keep in mind that establishment republicans don't like him either. They like Pence much better.

Then again, you've demonstrated that you have no clue about anything.

Blackasshole, all you do is ad hominem and offer no debate.

Do you get your marching orders from Jessie Jackson, or Ferrakohn, or Sharpton? Which of the black liberation nutters do you listen to?

Perhaps Rev Wright?

It begs the question, why do liberals hate and fear him so much then? If he is a populist, that implies about 50% of his policies align with the left. Including protectionism for US labor/workers. (Well used to, the Democrat party has abandoned the white working class.)

So why do they hate him so much?
