Is the left going to marginalize themselves out of existence?

Sure thing, tootsie. The Tea Party was considered a failure as recently as 2012.

How long have you given the left on this, anyway? About 3 weeks?

You guys can write all the wishful thinking you want. You're all desh. Trump is going too far right, and he's putting on a circus. Personally, I can't wait for the next 2 elections.

Tea Party and the Trump circus sit under the same tent. It's just a rebranding of the same Know Nothing ultra right rah rah team America praise ignorance as a virtue ideology. Every single Tea Party member voted for dump. 70 % of Trump voters who cast ballots were tea baggers.

They've become the party and people of protest, riots, and political strife. A mix of anarchy and a betrayal of their former closely held beliefs. A radical party of socialism.

One needs to look no further than the Berkeley riots that took place. A blatant attempt to silence a man's free speech. What was so dangerous about Milo that he mustn't be allowed to speak? Perhaps it was the very idea that he's right, and the left can't debate him. Solution? Shut him down. Don't let him speak.

This will backfire very badly for the left wingers; Many people whom are liberal and support the left because they (used) to be party/people of openness and free speech. Instead they are the party and people of bullying PC tactics. And orwellian groupthink. Followed by allout rioting and strife.

People are quietly leaving the movement. They are staying home on election day, or voting for the otherside. Dems have lost all houses of congress, Potus, Scotus, and 900 seats in state legislators.

I firmly believe they are marginalizing themselves into a fringe group, and out of mainstream politics for sometime. Possibly for good.

Completely and totally ignorant. Quite obviously you know very little about politics .. or life .. or common sense.

Here you are gloating about the least popular president in American history who was meet with millions of people all over the world protesting against him even before he took office .. and you think that's a good thing. :0) Obviously you lack the intelligence to see that it is you and your mindless cult who are being marginalized.

Even politicians and millions of people in ENGLAND reject the stench of your president there. Parliament had to debate whether to let that asswipe in.

How long do you think it will be before the Republican Party turns on the most hated man on the planet? Keep in mind that establishment republicans don't like him either. They like Pence much better.

Then again, you've demonstrated that you have no clue about anything.

If by "they" you mean the Democrats, I'll take your word for it.

But based upon this premise which YOU have asserted, "they" are quite well ideologically aligned with the Republican party's top leaders.

Speaker Ryan has expressed concerns about Trump: "I'm not there yet."

Majority Leader McConnell has expressed concerns about Trump: "I think it's time for him [Donald Trump ("R"-NY) Republican 2016 presidential candidate] to look like a serious candidate for president." Majority Leader McConnell (R-KY)

The next most recent Republican presidential nominee: "Donald Trump is a phony, a fraud. His promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University. ... playing the members of the American public for suckers. He gets a free ride to the White House. And all we get is a lousy hat." Mitt Romney

This is unprecedented.

BUT !!

"They've become the party and people of protest, riots, and political strife." I #22

You mean by siding with the law on restraining President Trump from his immigration policy?

Your allegation isn't even plausible!

You are making the same mistake the democrat party made after 2008 and 2012. If I have learned anything it is that in politics, nothing is permanent and outside of hyper partisans on both sides of the spectrum, the American people really aren't ideological and don't know what they want.

They aren't geared up for daily political fights. They just want to lead their lives.

Are the left wingers acting foolishly? I believe so with regards to their violence. Of course they have a right to protest, but they are taking it farther than that and are being applauded and cheered by their elected politicians

Now with that said, in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter. Meaning in two years if the American people are happy with the direction of the country, the GOP is less likely to lose a lot of seats. In 2020, Trump will be judged on his successes and failures. What the left does or doesn't do will be irrelevant.

They are not siding with the law with regards to immigration. If anyone wasn't following the law with regards to immigration it was Obama.

Not one person on this board can cite what is unconstitutional about what Trump is doing. I hear people claim it is a "muslime ban", but it is not.

The Leftwingers keep shooting themselves in the foot ... over and over again.
:rofl2:

:rofl2:

They are playing to their base? What is wrong with that? Just like the GOP did.

The mistake both parties make is believing Americans are ideological. Except for the base of each party they are not ideological.

The other mistake both sides makes is taking the results of an election or poll as validation that the American people love everything about them. Not the case at all.

Look at all the changes of control in Congress since the 1990s. Americans are politically shizophrenic and the country becomes more Balkanized by the day

NEWS FLASH
Former President Obama is not president.
Current President Trump is president.

Former President Obama's immigration policy didn't draw this kind of near immediate judicial branch intervention.
Instead it's President Trump's immigration policy early in his first month in office that drew this near immediate judicial branch intervention.

"They are not siding with the law with regards to immigration." TD #25

Oh thanks TD!
I so much enjoy these crackpot theories.

Guess what!
The law judge that intervened here is a law judge. Do you really mean to assert that a law judge does not have legal authority?

"I hear people claim it is a "muslime ban", but it is not." TD

And why do you suppose "people claim" that?!
Could it possibly be because candidate Trump promised PRECISELY that "until we can figure out what the Hell is going on!"?

President Trump tasked former federal prosecutor, former NYC mayoral hero Rudi Juliani to structure the Trump ban so that it would avoid this kind of judicial branch preemption.

I'm sure Mr. Giuliani did his best.
Are we supposed to not notice that all 7 nations on the list are all majority Muslim?

It may not be "muslime (sic) ban". But it was a suspension of immigration from 7 Middle East nations, 100% of which were majority Muslim.

You think we're too stupid to figure that one out? Well, good news 1stein. Our judicial branch isn't. Trump's ban was suspended by law, for legal reason.

"Not one person on this board can cite what is unconstitutional about what Trump is doing." TD

Then I'm not on this board, because I can.
I can cite the same legal reasoning cited in the legal briefs flooding in to the court, which precipitated the suspension of the ban on Trump's new approach in the first place.

BTW how many muslime countries ARENT on the list?

And lastly why do you want these muslimes here so badly? What's in it for you?

And we know what you are. You're the party of Trump - who has an historically low approval rating for a new President, who lies every day, and who Americans already have "chaos fatigue" over.

And that's going to last for awhile - probably long after Trump is gone. He has already redefined your party (and not for the better). In an election where you won the electoral by 73,000 votes in 3 states and lost the popular by 3 million, it ain't gonna be good for you the next time around.
I don't know......you've been crowing about the successes of the left for quite a while now.....what exactly do you have to show for yourself so far?......got any blocked cabinet appointments?...protected any of Obama's legacy?.....kept Trump from filling any campaign promises?......

The Republican party has undergone a reactionary and fear induced lurched to the extreme right, and quickly. A gradual and glacial paced movement to the left is a megatrend that will not ever cease, so long as science, reason and peaceful institutions control our thoughts and actions.

Sorry, country people, the left is anything but marginalized. I suggest you gobble some antidepressants, turn off Fox News, get back to your plows and leave the important civic minded and larger issues to the people with the capability of attending to them..
.......................
institutions control their thoughts and actions....

You got that right.....
I've seen saying that for years and liberal pinheads keep imagining they are using their own brains to think.....lmao

say, I wonder if those comments were made BEFORE he got elected president......

LOL

Find one post, PMP. I never said the left or Dems would be able to block any appointments or anything like that.

You are truly addled, old man. Like Trump, you just make shite up.

I just feel bad for you guys.

Even Trump's SCOTUS nominee has the courage to speak out against him.

But you guys are just going to be here every day, claiming he didn't say this or that, or that he really meant this or that, etc. It's actually tiring to watch.
