I've never denied it in the past.....I've said many times that congress knew exactly what they were voting for before they voted....war....shit, it wasn't unofficially called the
WAR resolution for nothing.....
and kudos to you for not denying you're a liar.
Thingy appears to be politically dense. He really is dumbfounded why people are discussing Benghazi and not Iraq. It is very clear why.

It isn't clear to me why they are discussing Benghazi, being that Hillary wasn't found guilty of anything, but they desperately want her to be guilty is the only thing I see.
It's a distraction to Clinton's real role in the Libyan war, it's a losing issue -nobody seriously holds her responsible -Thingy appears to be politically dense. He really is dumbfounded why people are discussing Benghazi and not Iraq. It is very clear why.
100% correctOf course it was 'Bush's war'....thats why he asked to and RECEIVED permission form Congress to wage it.....and the undeniable fact is, without that vote,
there would have been no war.....I keep saying that and you keep mischacterizing my claim.....BDS will do that to you.
To quote you, "an Iraq thread certainly wouldn't be complete without bravs asserting again that "Dems in Congress pushed him into it!"
That post is a total lie, plain and simple. I said nothing even resembling that....a accurate statement would be, the resolution would not have passed without affirmative votes by a number of Democrats....
resulting in no approval of the war.....
It's a distraction to Clinton's real role in the Libyan war, it's a losing issue -nobody seriously holds her responsible -
and it's petty politics for small minds who can't make the case against Clinton like Christie did the other night.
It's seriopusly stupid to focus on Bengazi when Clinton's record is so full of holes -not just Libya-but Libya being the big burrito
Well, the point seems to have flown at a comfortable altitude over your head.
I get why Benghazi is discussed. I just find the hypocrisy of many of the convention attendees as well as others on the right regarding this issue to be overwhelming. Because it is.
So Yurt.
Lol, you get it, but your point is the hypocrisy, which of course you claim you rarely point out and that Yurt is pathological about it. Everyday you mention hypocrisy, but yeah, only Yurt does that kind of stuff. You even find the hypocrisy overwhelming.
This whole thread, by your admission, is just a gotcha and is solely about pointing out hypocrisy. But yeah, that is a Yurt trademark.
Fine, your little hypocrisy point is made, yes, it is hypocritical of righties. But it makes sense as this is done every single time by both parties. Of course they would focus on Benghazi and not Iraq.
In reality though, the issue of being a traitor is not comparable to Benghazi at all. In times of war, there has always been sides and one side for it always throws out the patriotism and traitor rhetoric. Benghazi is not a war and no one has said it is the same as Iraq.
Every time someone like Christie tears into Hillary about Benghazi at this convention, you see the righteous indignation from so many in the crowd, applauding and cheering earnestly like there has never been a more egregious foreign policy debacle in their lives.
But wait – there was! In fact, one that didn’t just cost 4 American lives, but over 4,000. Oh, and also countless other innocent lives. And nearly bankrupted the country. And was started on false pretenses. And lasted 10 years. And destabilized the region. And which Bush made light of after the fact.
Spare me, you Republican hypocrites. Every single one of you was calling any war opponent a traitor & terrorist sympathizer, and defending Bush to the end even after it was clear that they had deceived the public, to get us into a war. I can’t remember a more obvious example of blind partisan double-standards & false outrage.
Seahawk, every thread is not all about you, the forum is not all about you, and the world is not all about you, that is all.
Meltdown? LOL.
Anything to avoid addressing that you do the very thing you claim Yurt did and that I do and that it somehow makes me Yurt. Why doesn't it make you Yurt?
I've explained it to you. Everyone talks about hypocrisy once in awhile. It's okay to talk about. Not everyone who talks about hypocrisy is Yurt.
It's the pathological behavior - the complete focus & obsession w/ it. That's the trademark.
I'm not going to explain it again. I'll probably bring up hypocrisy again, and you can have a field day w/ the whole Yurt/ego thing, but the difference is the disturbing obsession w/ it.
It actually wasn't called the war resolution by anyone but the media. But like I said, whatever makes you feel better for enthusiastically supporting that debacle, and then talking about Benghazi like it's the worst thing that America has been involved in.
Pence also misstated the facts on Benghazi in his speech, and supported the Iraq War, MSNBC played the Benghazi hearing tape with Clinton's famous quote in context, and it is nothing like Pence portrayed.
He is a man that puts his faith above all else, and yet, he bears false witness. Sad.
