I understand that those who have maintained a devoted love and infatuation with the Republican party would love to have this reality be reduced to "the ranting's of a troll", but you all know better. This is the reality when you go to a POLITICAL discussion board, you discuss politics, and when the sand is washed from beneath your feet, you can chose to only debate with those who are interested in shouting names back and forth, or you can discuss POLITICS.

Some, when they are faced with a situation that allows no respectable discussion and would require admission that an idol they held high has fallen, turn to shouting, name calling, obfuscation, and otherwise ignoring the reality.

While I don't agree with him generally, he is a free thinker who is beyond the usual Washington, D.C. crap. He speaks his mind, he is intelligent, is it because he does not have the hint of Xenophobia they love in Trump?

Why not Fiorina? She is a Washington, D.C. outsider, a true conservative (unlike Trump), and she surely speaks her mind. No hint of Xenophobia, but she is a split tail.

There were better and more Conservative options if it was an outsider they wanted. I don't buy the standard party line that Trump is so popular due to his outsider status or because he is not PC and speaks his mind. He has taped into a frustrated vein or racist and xenophobic Americans who are frustrated because it is no longer acceptable to have such ideas.

Once Trump gets the nomination, watch him veer strongly left, chose a leftist VP and make a serious run at winning. I simply hate to see America turn backward toward the fear of our minorities.

I think its quite possible that 30% of whatever republican voters are considered to be are fed up with the establishment pols and want better. Same goes for the left and it may go double for the middle.

It's been discussed plenty on this board. You either choose not to see it or you ignore it. And what you do is project the worst motives and behaviors onto Republicans while discussing them. It's why I have no interest in joining your daily thread on the subject.
