However, the law also states the person is required to take reasonable measures by stepping back or walking away.

As I heard that issue addressed this morning on Court TV by some LEO affiliated person... there was more than one agency there at the time and the guys inside the enclosure the rioters breached may not have been in communication with the SWAT team who were directly behind the protesters.

Possibly different radio frequencies and possibly didn't know the SWAT team was there.

Also, they had no idea who she was or what kind of weapon or explosive device she might have been carrying or what her intentions were.

Their job was to protect that area and that is what they did.

She should have known better than to attempt what she was attempting to do.

Yes, there is. 'Looking through a window' does not involve taking a blunt object, breaking the glass, and jumping through the opening. I thought even you might be bright enough to figure that out, but I guess I not.

They broke the window then she started to go through the window when the officer shot her. She was not simply "looking through the window". Look at the damn video you moron. She clearly has climbed up and started to go through the broken window after being told to exit along with everyone else.

The kid missed what? The outside of a building where no one was around? The kid was charged with arson and should have been.
