I spoke out forcefully and regularly against impeachment...until the Judiciary Committee hearings. I spoke out here in this forum...and the other where I also post. I also spoke out against thoughts of putting that disgusting piece of classless garbage into prison...arguing that is not the kind of thing we do, even to disgraced presidents.

So do not give me that lying crap.

You guys already had your kangaroo court trial and decided to impeach. You blew it.
The 2nd & 3rd hand "witnesses" all affirmed that there were no impeachable offenses
or crimes. Senate will acquit. The end. Get over it.
It's the House's job to create. It's the Senate's job to judge.

I agree...the Senate will acquit.

But to think it has to do with "no impeachable offenses" is nuts.

Of course there are impeachable offenses.

But the spineless Republican senators are not going to be considering the evidence of those offenses. The are going to be considering how their vote on guilt or acquittal will impact on their chances for re-election.

They would do better to consider what impact their vote will have on their reputations.

They'd all vote guilty if they did that.

WRONG, FALSE and LAME. FIRST; let's see how the vote goes this week when it comes to the floor before we count our chickens.

SECONDLY; the Senate need only vote on the weak, pathetic evidence the House has provided. The so-called evidence is the lamest, weakest bullshit to ever be charged towards a President.

This CLOWN show was conducted by lying hypocrites who denounced the Clinton impeachment, which had REAL evidence of suborned testimony and obstruction, as a "lynching", as "partisan" and as having "lowered the bar" for impeachment.

This effort will rightly die on the floor of the Senate, Trump will remain in office; Democrats will bloviate about Trump's impeachment going into the 2020 election and lose again. It might even be possible that Republicans reclaim the House with a sweeping Trump victory and you will continue to lie and cry on this forum. ;)
