If God were real, you wouldn’t need a book

What 'order' do you see in the Universe. It's just random stuff!

The Theory of the Big Bang is not a theory of science!

What is 'lawful' about the universe?

[confusion over science being math omitted]
The laws of nature do not imply a deity. Your faith points you toward a deity. Your faith is what is leading you to believe that the laws of nature somehow imply a deity.

[science illiteracy omitted]

:lolup: The Big Bang is a theory, but is not science. You are an undereducated moron. There is no Big Bang science, only the Big Bang theory.

If you are looking for science of an expanding universe then you need to read Stephen Hawking's doctoral thesis. Otherwise, the Big Bang theory does not meet the requirements to be science and therefore cannot be science.

Spirit! Spirit isn't subject to the laws of physics
I've got spirit, yes I do.
I've got spirit, how 'bout you?

I'm not subject to the laws of physics. @Into the Night, the first thing I'm to do is to create matter and energy out of nothing and throw it in yo' face. Then I'm going to cause some Global Warming and some ocean acidification. What are you going to say then?

The laws of nature do not imply a deity.
Explain where the universal mathematical laws of nature came from in your own words.

Even when I was trying to be an atheist it struck me as logically incoherent that universal mathematical order and lawful organization just somehow resulted from random inanimate chance.

The best explanation based on the physical properties we can observe is that there is a rational and purposeful force or entity that caused a rational, mathematical, organized reality to begin to exist.
You are an undereducated moron! There is no Big Bang science, only the Big Bang theory
The science that investigates the Big Bang is called cosmology.
You need to read Stephen Hawking's doctoral thesis!
You've never read it, there is zero chance you ever did. You can't demand I read it. 🤣

You said you were an atheist! Go with the path you chose!
When you get to Balaam's mule,we will talk again

FWIW, @Cypress and I have extensively discussed the subject of creation. He seems to favor an intelligent mind designing an a logical universe. I favor an infinite number of random universes, some of which are dead, others which die out shortly after birthing from their "Big Bang" and some which thrive and grow as ours is doing...for as long as it lasts.
The comment I have about a multiverse is that it still doesn't explain a beginning, or the origin of universal mathematical laws of physics. Logic and science suggest there was a beginning, the universes can't be infinitly old.

According to cosmologist David Whittle, the total (positive) mass-energy of the observable universe is estimated at 10 exponent 53 kg.

The total (negative) gravitational energy of the observable universe is 10 exponent 53 kg

The sum of positive mass-energy and negative gravitational energy is therefore estimated to be equal to zero.

This is an extraordinary result.

Almost any other result would imply a universe that collapses back on itself in a fraction of a second, or inflates so rapidly that atomic matter doesn't have a chance to form.

Of the infinite number of mathematical possibilities for an energy balance in the universe, it seems to be balanced precisely at zero.

We seem to live in a universe that is improbably finely tuned on the razor's edge.

So your take is that the laws of nature imply a place, i.e. a place from where they originally migrated, yes? That's a rather stupid position. The laws of nature don't need to come from anywhere.

Do you believe in a god? From where did he migrate?

Even when I was trying to be an atheist
No one can try to be an atheist. It's amazing that you remain unable to learn what an atheist is, even when you are told multiple times.

it struck me as logically incoherent
... understandibly because you are a willful moron. You don't seem to be able to understand anything you are taught. Ever.

that universal mathematical order
You haven't explained how it is order. Order implies arrangement, and our universe is a random dust cloud. You are greatly confused.

and lawful organization
There is no organization in a random dust cloud.

just somehow resulted from random inanimate chance.
Random dust clouds are the epitome of random inanimate chance.

The best explanation
I will make that determination, thank you.

based on the physical properties we can observe
... yesssss .....

is that there is a rational and purposeful force or entity that caused a rational, mathematical, organized [random dust cloud].
FTFY. Your position is inane

The science that investigates the Big Bang is called cosmology.
There is no such thing as any science that investigates. There are people/researchers who investigate things, and science isn't people. It's sad that science is one of those things that you are unable to learn.

You've never read it, there is zero chance you ever did. You can't demand I read it.
What is "it"? Do you know what an antecedent is?

The laws of nature don't need to come from anywhere!
So you don't have any answer as to why they exist or take the particular form they do.

That's the answer I expected.

According to you, they either just randomly popped into existence, or they exist and persist for no particular reason at all.
you are a willful moron.
You are a bad faith poster I'm not going to invest much time in.
You insinuated that you supposedly had read Steven Hawking's PhD dissertation, which we both know is a lie.

It's not a profitable use of my time to engage with liars.
