I hope Tim Scott

A 2nd term for Trump is likely to fundamentally change the nature of the republic. I don't think that's melodramatic. Trump's intentions for a 2nd term are all out there in broad daylight.

There's too much group think on this board (and in general) and it's why people miss the point of the above. (I'm making a general statement here, not specifically at you) If you really believe what you wrote, why take actions that make it more likely to occur?

My friend who I quoted from Facebook was born and raised in Oakland, CA. He is NO Republican. But even though he's a liberal he still is pragmatic and not a dogmatic partisan. Thus being able to call out what's happening.

"The lefty news outlets who supposedly hate Trump and their lefty viewers who supposedly hate Trump can't help get enough of Trump. Go figure."

CNN & MSNBC's rating went down when they stopped talking about Trump 24/7. I mean let's be real, what's more interesting - Biden's Industrial Policy or Trump? And they go up when they focus on him.

They don't even try to hide this fact

Is the correct term codependency? MSNBC & CNN (and Fox News) are all driven by ratings. There is no denying Trump draws ratings. So it's the ultimate irony that they talk about the threat he possesses while keeping him front and center in everyone's mind 24/7.

I noticed now too NN's (racist) post about Tim Scott got a couple of thanks. Racism for me, but not for thee...

I don't mean to repeat myself in case I am. To me, those words are belied by people's actions. The actions the media and people who claim not to like him have taken have only contributed to driving his supporters back into his arms.

Part of me thinks it's on purpose because Biden is a very vulnerable candidate but the one person we know he can beat is Trump. It's not all that different than Democrats saying we need to eliminate #MAGA people yet donating to #MAGA candidates.

I don't care about the press. I think they have no idea how to cover Trump, because he lies and he is such a danger. Ignoring him isn't going to make him go away. I ignored him after he lost. And where did that get me and the rest of the country. The bastard attacked the capitol and came minutes from completing a coup. Then Mitch said 'just ignore him and let the justice system do their job'. How did that work out? Trump is actively trying to destroy the country. Ignoring Frankensteins monster won't make it go away. It has to be killed. BY ALL OF US.

Despite all this coverage you claim that Trump is getting, most of his supporters STILL THINK HE WON THE ELECTION. They also have never seen the actual video of 1/6. So how does it help to stop talking about him. What do you think is going to happen if all of us just ignore Trump. Will that wish him away? Will it make his supporters abandon him? Nope. Simple question, what happens if Trump wins and has a bunch of MTGs controlling Congress? When do you think our next real Presidential election will take place? Not in Donald Trumps lifetime. Maybe Don Jr. can be our Kim Jung Il. Wouldn't that be fun? This is not a policy election. Democracy is on the ballot. This is the easiest choice in history.

If I really felt it was ratings driven, I would be less annoyed

This is strategy driven, and Trump is a fool to think he can cozy up with them now and not have the knives come out in the general

Scott like the others has no balls to even attempt to discuss Donald Trump. He is a weak man with no principals.

 Bran dead lying leftist moron thinks there isn't enough talk about Trump. TDS is a severe mental condition causing those afflicted with it to look stupid, erupt like morons and lie like sociopaths.

I actually haven't followed his indictments so I can't get into the weeds on them. But I know enough to know that partisan politics has played a role in them, which in turn makes Trump into a martyr and former supporters who would be inclined to move away from him are now back in his arms.

He was never going to 100% be out of the public eye but the codependency that keeps him front and center only serves to keep people with him.

Again, they need each other. Trump knows these liberal journalists and stations attacking him 24/7 keeps his supporters from straying elsewhere. Thus the whole codependency thing. Trump is a brilliant marketer. He's meeting with these folks for a reason (and it's not because he thinks they'll be nice to him).

Tim Scott is not the kind of person that Kicks ass!

He is more the type that Kisses Ass!

Sorry! But I couldn't resist!

lG5eocK_d.webp

Pundits seem to think he underperformed.

He is apparently this year's version of that pizza guy from 2016 Herman Cain. He'll get a lot of attention from MAGA morons initially and then fade into irrelevance.

Tim Scott is a tap dancing, watermelon eating Uncle Tom.

I can't imagine a self-respecting person of color voting for him
and I don't imagine that many do.
Wow. Didn't take very long for the racist "woe are blacks" libtards to bring up the "Uncle Tom" slur, eh? Post #2... wow...

I have forgotten none of the lies you worthless shits came up with.....including the ones that caused the unemployment and the trouble with the economy.....cope, fucker....you can't hide from what you did to this country......"oh, it's not safe to open restaurants and gyms"....."it's not safe to let mom and pop stores stay open......you need to go to WalMart"......"it's not safe to go to school"........"let's put half the country on unemployment benefits because it's not safe for them to work"......Faucifacts that everyone now admits were pure bullshit......

you needed a bad economy to defeat Trump so you created one......

Sadly it was Donald who lied about the dangers of Covid from day one. He feared the truth might hurt his re election. Had he been honest from the beginning, much of the damage could have been averted. Then we have scum like you who went out of their way to lie about vaccines, which some people believed and wound up dead.

What was the "honesty" from the beginning?

Know" Nope, you believe that. The law is coming for a crook. That is how it should be. We should be happy that for once a wealthy guy is facing justice. If you did what Trump did, you would be in chains. Eveb\n after so many charges, he still walks free.
