A 2nd term for Trump is likely to fundamentally change the nature of the republic. I don't think that's melodramatic. Trump's intentions for a 2nd term are all out there in broad daylight.

There's too much group think on this board (and in general) and it's why people miss the point of the above. (I'm making a general statement here, not specifically at you) If you really believe what you wrote, why take actions that make it more likely to occur?

My friend who I quoted from Facebook was born and raised in Oakland, CA. He is NO Republican. But even though he's a liberal he still is pragmatic and not a dogmatic partisan. Thus being able to call out what's happening.

So how does it help to stop talking about him. What do you think is going to happen if all of us just ignore Trump. Will that wish him away? Will it make his supporters abandon him? Nope.
