I hope Tim Scott

There’s just a whole lot of irony here. Volstruck, for whom a majority of his posts are spent sh*tting on black people, supporting a black guy.

And then you have liberals who claim to love diversity and support minorities, unless that minority shares different political views or takes heterodox views on racial issues and then they basically aren’t human.

I couldn't give a rats ass whether Scott is black, white, brown, purple, or pink. He is another gutless, spineless coward. No one who is unwilling to defend his country against a coup attempt, and goes so far as to promise to vote for the traitor, has any business serving. He is unfit to serve in any position, ever. Period. Full stop.

President Trump has not been convicted of a coup attempt.

That case will be laughed out of court.

Bravo!

You are free to think whatever you want about Scott but that's not what I responded to. NN's comment about Scott had nothing to do with Trump.

And no one is required to respond to all racist comments made on this board. There'd be no point in being here if that was the case. That said, there's a lot of silence about his comment from people who enjoy calling others racist. It's the 'I'm against racism if someone I disagree with politically says it, but otherwise it's all good'.

Why, thank you very much. The people on that stage last night were given the easiest leadership test in the history of politics. It was a binary choice. Six of them failed, and have, in my mind, debased themselves to the point that they should be barred from ever serving.

It's like asking a group of math teacher candidates to add 2+2, and hiring the people who answered 'seven'.

I was not surprised that the most effective person on the stage last night was Haley, and it wasn't close for me. The problem is, she flunked the entrance exam, and then to make sure that we KNEW she flunked, she pointed it out again by saying she would pardon the treasonous scumbag. This level of debasement should be an embarrassment for every person that calls themselves a Republican. Anyone who is afraid of Truth Detector is beneath contempt. Just sayin'

Well, nutter, Trump has not been convicted of treason.

That's cool. Your post was simply a good spot for me to point out the obvious. I'm still utterly confused as to how you are not there yet. But I chalk that up to the mysteries of life.

I thought Scott would do better, but he is not only falling all over himself kissing Trumps ring, but he's falling all over himself trying to find a position on abortion that resonates with the voters he needs. Doesn't matter. None of the people on that stage is likely to ever be President. The stench of Trump, and their utter cowardice will not be forgotten. It is what it is.

Just groan at my posts Earl. I don't read a fucking thing you say unless it's forced on me like the Malcom McDowell character in a Clockwork Orange. You might be the dumbest fucker here. Hard to say, I blocked you day one.

Don’t awaken your children on Saturday for school…no school on Saturday…nutter.

I was hoping he'd do better - but he didn't.

Haley won the night easily.

But no one will challenge Trump. The GOP base is so far down the rabbit hole at this point. It will take them many years to get back to being a credible, viable party in America.

The Democrats support a corrupt senile octogenarian.

I'm a Republican so I'm not going to disagree with/dislike/hate other Republicans like many Democrats will/might. And while I understand the importance of the Presidency, other things interest me more than just talking about Trump 24/7.

I had a liberal friend post this on Facebook the other day (it was in response to an article showing MSNBC ratings increasing with Trump's indictment):

"The lefty news outlets who supposedly hate Trump and their lefty viewers who supposedly hate Trump can't help get enough of Trump. Go figure."

CNN & MSNBC's rating went down when they stopped talking about Trump 24/7. I mean let's be real, what's more interesting - Biden's Industrial Policy or Trump? And they go up when they focus on him.

So on one the side of the mouth people say he's a threat to our country and has to be stopped, yet the media and these same folks will not stop talking about him which 1) keeps in the spotlight (which he craves) and 2) drives voters to his side

These folks are complicit in where we are today. I often say don't use this board as a proxy but I think there's relevance in this case. Even after Biden won and took office people much of the time was still spent talking about Trump. It's the toxic marriage where people are so bad to each other yet can't be apart.

There was a poster named Tacomaman. Not real sure his story but he posted for about six months around the end of Trump's Presidency. Everyday he would start a new anti-Trump thread, and I wish I had saved this post, after he left office Tacomaman said (i'm paraphrasing) 'i'm sad he's going to be leaving because now we can't talk about him'. Of course, we can and do still talk about him but that summed up the dependency people have towards him perfectly.

TRUMP IS AN EXISTENTIAL THREAT TO OUR DEMOCRACY.

I'd suggest you start caring.

A 2nd term for Trump is likely to fundamentally change the nature of the republic. I don't think that's melodramatic. Trump's intentions for a 2nd term are all out there in broad daylight.

I don't mean to repeat myself in case I am. To me, those words are belied by people's actions. The actions the media and people who claim not to like him have taken have only contributed to driving his supporters back into his arms.

Part of me thinks it's on purpose because Biden is a very vulnerable candidate but the one person we know he can beat is Trump. It's not all that different than Democrats saying we need to eliminate #MAGA people yet donating to #MAGA candidates.
