so you deny that people were gassed?
Member of Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Syrian Arab Republic[edit source]
Since September 2012, Del Ponte has been a member of the Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Syrian Arab Republic,[4] under the auspices of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights.
In May 2013 she accused the Syrian rebels of using chemical weapons, a view diametrically opposed by the majority of Western government officials. She stated, "We still have to deepen our investigation, verify and confirm (the findings) through new witness testimony, but according to what we have established so far, it is at the moment opponents of the regime who are using sarin gas."[5]

and NOW we have way more evidence that you CHOOSE to ignore
And here's Del Ponte in person accusing the terrorists of the use of gas.

The person who should have known the truth as well or better than anyone. This kind of statement can't be counterspun by the US. Del Ponte has much more credibility, yet some Americans insist on believing their own thoroughly discredited propagandists in their rush to war.
Why would you offer this as evidence evince? Were you having a moment of honesty or have you now changed sides?
Anti-government armed groups could gain access to and use chemical weapons. This includes nerve agents, though there is no compelling evidence that these groups possess such weapons or their requisite delivery systems.
Guess who has on the bloody shoes?

Witness to a Syrian Execution: “I Saw a Scene of Utter Cruelty"
excerpt
What follows is a harrowing series of photographs of Islamic militants publicly executing, by decapitation, a young Syrian in the town of Keferghan, near Aleppo, on August 31, 2013.
Because of the danger in reporting inside Syria, it was not possible to confirm the identity or political affiliation of the victim. Nor are we certain about the motivation of his killers. One eyewitness who lives in the area and was contacted by TIME a week after the beheadings said that the executioners were from ISIS, an Al-Qaeda franchise operating in Syria and Iraq.
TIME obtained the images exclusively from a photographer who was recently in Syria. This decapitation was the last of four executions he documented that day. TIME has agreed not to publish the photographer’s name, to protect him from repercussions when he returns to Syria. What follows is an edited account of his experience:

The pictures and the video are too gruesome and graphic to post ... you can view them at the link.
But they may give you nightmares.
sure DH, trying to show the UN isn't really able to say whom "did it" -just that the agents ( chems) are there. That's for that annata, but it's not relevant to Del Ponte's claims and their susbequent rejection by the very commission of which she is a member.
I hate wars, my heart cries for his family
that's a new one AQIR I know, the Levant (al_Nusra of course but they are Syrian)-lemme check out these bloodthirsty bastards.ISIS, an Al-Qaeda franchise operating in Syria and Iraq.
I wish people would stop peddling this horseshit. The Commission of which she is a member stated that there is no compelling evidence that the rebels possess, let alone used, chemical weapons.
