Americans have ID's (including voter ID's). Shouldn't be a problem.

But there's a line for citizens.

Texans heading back from Mexico have to sit in their idling cars while waiting in long security lines to re-enter the United States. Wait times at the international ports of entry in El Paso average about an hour during the week and up to three hours on the weekend.

Idling takes a lot of gas...

Well you know what came after Carter who Biden is a worse president than...

Republican landslides for years.

When you hit Americans in the pocket, the gas tank, and the dinner table, they do not forget things like that very quickly.

Normally, quite right. However, there is still the problem of election fraud by Democrats.

Civilized nations, completely unlike ourselves, have adequate public transportation.
Define 'civilized nation'.
Personal cars should be for personal use, not for commuting to work.
Who are you to dictate what people use a car for? Fuck off.
My Jeep Grand Cherokee has a huge hemi V8.
So?
On the one hand, a smaller car would not meet my comfort requirements.
So? Drive what you want.
On the other hand, putting more than 5000 miles a year on it would be socially irresponsible.
Why?
Also, I put fewer miles than that on my vintage Corvette in the summer. Back and forth to the golf course, basically.
So your golf course is closer than 5000 miles. Meh.
Trains are for going to work in most places, but not in irresponsible America.
Not practical. There's a reason passenger rail doesn't succeed in the States.
I don't know of a viable solution at this point. We may be pretty much fucked.
The solution is simple. Produce more oil and gasoline.

It is being produced...in Mexico. I am talking about smuggling gasoline in from Mexico.

The Republicans only have to show the progression of prices and have an audience with a capable IQ to demonstrate the war isn’t the issue for prices.

Pain at the pump is going to be pain at elections for democrats. It’s going to benefit the Republicans November.

You can't snap your fingers & make 50% of our energy needs from green anything. Only a moron doesn't know that. But democrats went ahead with the goal of destroying our gas & oil industry anyway. And now this is the mess we find ourselves in. Could the democrats have found a better way to screw the poor & middle class people? I honestly don't think so. For once I'm thinking that they may not get by with blaming something they did on someone else. We will have to see in the next election, won't we?
