Republican landslides for years.

When you hit Americans in the pocket, the gas tank, and the dinner table, they do not forget things like that very quickly.
 
Over sixty bucks to fill up the Grand Cherokee today, and it wasn't even close to being on empty.

Freakin' Hemi is a thirsty engine.

Still, boycotting Russian oil is an absolute necessity.

Anybody who complains about it should be sodomized with a rusty fishing knife, as Jim Cornette is fond of saying.

If you do not drive much you could probably make that case. People that actually have to drive to work everyday would disagree.

Civilized nations, completely unlike ourselves, have adequate public transportation.

Personal cars should be for personal use, not for commuting to work.

My Jeep Grand Cherokee has a huge hemi V8.

On the one hand, a smaller car would not meet my comfort requirements.

On the other hand, putting more than 5000 miles a year on it would be socially irresponsible.
Also, I put fewer miles than that on my vintage Corvette in the summer. Back and forth to the golf course, basically.

Trains are for going to work in most places, but not in irresponsible America.

I don't know of a viable solution at this point. We may be pretty much fucked.
