She was dismissed after closing arguments...one of two.... before deliberations....
Alternates are nothing more than spectators. They have no interaction with the 12 jurors or judge whatsoever (unless the judge calls on them). None. Their opinion is meaningless. No more than another reporter's opinion who was at the trial. 15 minutes of fame...

Let them. Then they were never a foreman on a jury in Federal court. I was. The alternates are meaningless unless called upon by the judge. Fact. Period.

Their opinion is no more relevant than anyone else in that courtroom (other than the judge and the 12 jurors, and they haven't spoken publicly). That's what. It's what I said to begin with. DUH!!

Here is the thing....after so much pressure was placed upon the jury to return the expected result we have no way to know whether they are telling us the truth, or rather telling us what power demanded to hear. I do know that Americans tend to be cowards now, so I am not willing to assume that I am hearing the truth.
