That’s where your hyperbole shows. Men aren’t hard up to compete against women. And I have no idea what you mean by “every one of them is middle of the road against men”.

I constantly see the complaints. People like you provide them quite frequently.

“I can’t compete against them!” (ie “I can’t win”)
“It’s just not fair!” (ie “I can’t win”)
“They’re taking away scholarships” (No, they’re really not)

The shower issue is so fucking minor and easily solvable. So, try not to bore me with the obvious.

Great. I support their right to challenge things. But, the 14th Amendment? REALLY? What kind of a stretch is that?

It also amazes me that they claim a right to privacy in locker rooms. The irony is pretty darn thick.

I also see that they demand the trans be stripped of their times, medals and records and be reassigned to the females. Once again, it IS about winning, isn’t it?

Yeah, there are a lot more important things, and more fulfilling, than sitting in front of the boob tube watching sports events.

Don’t get me wrong. I’ve been to some great sporting events through the years. Enjoyed them a lot. But sports, especially college sports, aren’t the same anymore. The NCAA has ensured that they are now professionals.

You miss my point about Jenner. No doubt he was a great athlete. I merely said I don’t give a shit about his opinion. He’s a trans, as well. And I don’t give a shit about his opinion there, either. If you do, great. Go for it.

In this age of routine international travel, I think the Olympics are an anachronism.
I would have Zero problem with the US withdrawing from them.

Instead, we have to worry about some idiot withdrawing us from NATO.

Bruce Jenner was an Olympic athlete didn’t c compete as a trans and frankly I would not trust her to know shit. The studies show that once gender affirming therapy lowers testosterone levels the advantage is no longer there. It is what it is. Again we are talking about a group so small that there are more Congressmen studying this than there are athletes. I think we need to agree to disagree on this one.

Whereas I rarely find myself watching sports anymore, I spent years coaching youth basketball and baseball. I had a gay girl on my team (before she knew she was gay) and many couldn't even tell she was a girl. I watched her get bullied by boys on the basketball court because they thought she was just a boy with pretty good skills.

She went on to excel in high school sports. Title IX was created in order to keep girls from being excluded from competing in sports if their school didn't offer girl's teams.

It is now being cited as a basis for allowing men to dominate women.

I have confidence that it will be sorted out fairly in the next 5-10 years. Democrats in Congress are simply pandering to the trans community, with absolutely no clue as to the ramifications.

I try to keep from having this discussion with my Left leaning friends here. IRL, even my most Liberal friends draw the line at men competing against women.

The 'studies' you cite are now accepted as flawed, and they are going to require longer periods of hormone treatments. Testosterone is one of many factors that are now recognized as giving an advantage.

And if you, like others, refuse to accept that men in the locker rooms is a violation of the rights of many, then yes. Let's not discuss this further.
