FCOL Negro League was the formal name and it will remain so. One of our museums has a permanent display on it because two of the earliest teams in the league were in Pittsburgh.

that is an example of what CRT talks about. The fact Satchel Paige had to play in the Negro Leagues at all, instead of Major League Baseball, is a testament to how racist our country was not all that long ago. but right wingers do not want to face facts so they want to gloss over the racist attitudes this country has lived through and is still struggling with today.

as far as the second part, nobody calls a black guy a black man, generally, he just says something like Lamar Jackson, a black qb in the NFL. and negro MEANS BLACK, DUMBFUCK. it is a non-offensive term used with full acceptance by whites and blacks until the 60's or so. now the preferred word is black. big ass deal.
