Fox altered tape of Biden

that is an example of what CRT talks about. The fact Satchel Paige had to play in the Negro Leagues at all, instead of Major League Baseball, is a testament to how racist our country was not all that long ago. but right wingers do not want to face facts so they want to gloss over the racist attitudes this country has lived through and is still struggling with today.

Well said.

He was a great anybody's pitcher he also played for the MLB. Biden referred to him as a Negro and not a Black Man did he not? You don't find that offensive.
Highlighting the historical fact that there even was such a thing as the Negro League highlights the fact that until relatively recently, professional sports in this country was built on segregation and racism.

That is a valuable moral lesson.

That isn't the issue. The issues is Biden is still referring to Satchel Paige as a great Negro instead of a great Blackman.

If you had been keeping up with my post you would know that I do. So do you use N***O when referring to Black People?

You wrote "Black players NEVER should have be limited to and all Black league it was racist. Don't you find that racist? "

Of course it was racist on the part of the white people who made the rules. Are you saying the Negro League was racist because of its official name?

"During the formative years of black baseball, the term "colored" was the accepted usage when referring to African-Americans. References to black baseball prior to the 1930s are usually to "colored" leagues or teams, such as the Southern League of Colored Base Ballists (1886), the National Colored Base Ball League (1887) and the Eastern Colored League (1923), among others. By the 20s or 30s, the term "Negro" came into use which led to references to "Negro" leagues or teams. The black World Series was referred to as the Colored World Series from 1924 to 1927, and the Negro World Series from 1942 to 1948.
The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People petitioned the public to recognize a capital "N" in negro as a matter of respect for black people. By 1930, essentially every major US outlet had adopted "Negro" as the accepted term for blacks.[SUP][4][/SUP] By about 1970, the term "Negro" had fallen into disfavor, but by then the Negro leagues were mere historic artifacts."

I refer to black people as "blacks" and "African-Americans." How about you?

Don't you find it offensive that black athletes couldn't play in MLB until Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier?

Divert, deflect, deviate, and dodge.

Answer the question.

I disagree. The issue is that the left wants to give him a pass for saying something they pretend is abhorrent to them (when other people do it}.

They are hypocrites with double standards.

If Biden actually referred Satchel as a Negro, of course we would agree that it's improper.

This point the rightists keep missing.
