Fox altered tape of Biden

True the whole edited video is a non issue. Biden referred to Satchel Paige as a Negro and not as a Black Man. At the least very disrespectful if not down right racist..

It doesn't matter how many times you repeat it, it doesn't make it any more true.

"And I just want to tell you, I know you’re a little younger than I am, but you know I’ve adopted the attitude of the great Negro — at the time, pitcher in the Negro Leagues — went on to become a great pitcher in the pros — in Major League Baseball after Jackie Robinson. His name was Satchel Paige.

Patently obvious the reference was intended to be about the 1940s vintage Negroe League, and it is also patently obvious why Fox edited the video.

A right-handed pitcher, Paige first played for the semi-professional Mobile Tigers from 1924 to 1926. He began his professional baseball career in 1926 with the Chattanooga Black Lookouts of the Negro Southern League and became one of the most famous and successful players from the Negro leagues. On town tours across the United States, Paige would sometimes have his infielders sit down behind him and then routinely strike out the side.[3]

At age 42 in 1948, Paige made his major league debut for the Cleveland Indians; to this day, this makes him the oldest debutant in major league history. Additionally, Paige was 59 years old when he played his last major league game, which is also a record that stands to this day. Paige was the first black pitcher to play in the American League and was the seventh black player to play in Major League Baseball. Also in 1948, Paige became the first player who had played in the Negro leagues to pitch in the World Series; the Indians won the Series that year. He played with the St. Louis Browns from 1951 to 1953, representing the team in the All-Star Game in 1952 and 1953. He played his last professional game on June 21, 1966, for the Peninsula Grays of the Carolina League, two weeks shy of 60.[4] In 1971, Paige became the first electee of the Negro League Committee to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.[5]
Yes I know he was a great pitcher. The word N***O is now considered offensive. If the had called it the N****R league would it be OK to call Satchel Paige a great N****R. Hell no he was a Black Man not a N***O or a N****R

Those two words are as different as a tree and a rock and you know it.

It doesn't excuse the fact that Biden referred to Paige with a disparaging antiquated offensive term.

Yep, they're unashamedly "left-biased." So to counter that, on the first page of this discussion I listed several other media sources for the same story.

Are you going to address the fact that Fox deliberately misled its viewers by dishonestly editing a video to make it look like Biden said something he did not, in order to drum up their poutrage? Oh, that's right. You're one of our fine racists who's just itching to prove that someone else is MORE racist.

Why "address the fact" when you can evade the fact and win the approval of your friends for whom unpleasant facts are a plague?

It's offensive to ignoramuses, I guess. The league Paige belonged to was known, and is still known, as a "Negro League".

Kind of cute, though, how the Right with its overflow of racists, fakes outrage at a thing like this.

Sleepy Joe calls a Black man a "negro".

DNCNews channel had him saying the same thing. Interesting. You had to go through nearly an hour of speeches to hear the remark. Time it happens 50:50 on the video. The editing was removing 50 minutes of other folks making speeches and the laying of the wreath ceremony.

An offensive relic of the past. Is Paige a Black Man or a N***O? Will Paige be forever known as a N***O or a N****R because people called him that?
