the IG should be investigating everybody, present or past, and anyone who deals in classified materials/emails. anyone caught using private servers for government work need to be indicted and tried. I don't care what letter comes after your name.

Wrong. There was an acting IG. Harold W. Geisel, a former ambassador, served as a temporary State Department IG during Clinton’s entire time as head of the State Department.
