Florida has record high deaths from Covid-19

.... COVID 19 was a convenient way for the hacks to destroy the economy in an effort to ensure Biden gets elected. ....
Awesome. The perfect summation of the Alt-Right view of a global pandemic. It belongs right up there with "Bush knew about 9/11" and "LBJ killed JFK".

Let's stick to facts: Kids have been killed by COVID-19 and more will die. How many die by the end of this year depends on how Federal and State authorities manage the problem.

Are you claiming there is a conspiracy by global medical experts to count COVID-19 deaths different from flu, anthrax or smallpox deaths?

I read of one 11 yr old who died in some state a few weeks ago. He had an accompanying chronic debilitating disease which of course compromised his immune system.

It's insane. But the most irrational thing about it is that voters would have forgiven Trump for the downturn.

What the pandemic has done is show how woeful a leader he really is, especially in a crisis. That has been the thing voters will not go easy on.

I agree we have way too many who rebel at anything they think violates their rights.

Your graphic sends the wrong message. It is not my feelings or yours at risk of being hurt. It is our health, our very lives.

It's a good thing that modern-day rightwingers didn't live in the 1930s or 1940s. Pearl Harbor would be a fake news story promoted by the deep state and FDR. Hitler and the Nazis would be misunderstood, and say, what's wrong with white supremacy and world domination anyways? What? *I'M* not giving up buying new shoes, tires, stockings, gas for my car -- and you can't make me! C'mon, let's go to the ration coupon book burning, and bring our guns! We'll show 'em they're not the boss of us!

*sigh*

Yes, kids die all the time. Some deaths are preventable, some are not. Do you agree that it is in the nation's best interests to minimize those deaths when feasible?

very few, and a school shutdown isn't a zero sum game.
There are consequences either way. measure and mitigate

LOL. Love the meme. I also agree that, all to often, it's 100% correct when dealing with Democrats. :)

OTOH, COVID-19 isn't a feel-good exercise in giving tender Liberals their safe space. You and I both know it's a national security issue. The severe downtown in the economy over the past few months is also a national security issue.

IMO, this all could have been avoided if our national government wasn't as dysfunctional as Hollywood power couple seeking divorce. Good leadership would have seen this problem and explained it clearly to the American public last Fall. Good leadership would have laid out the problems and the recommendations. Good leadership would then lead by example. Masks would have been stocking stuffers last Christmas along with thousands labeled "Happy New Year 2021!" Except in most extreme, and isolated cases, shutting down a town or community wouldn't have been necessary. Our nation would be operating as normal and masks would be as common as Kleenex.

Instead of good leadership, We, the People got exactly the government we deserve. Hopefully the smart ones will learn from it. Civic duty has a purpose, but all too often modern Americans are more worried about their own selfish interests to the point they'd happily fuck over other Americans just to get their way.

No doubt you are more than happy to roll the dice on American children. You and Stalin have something in common. Kudos!

Correct, not a zero sum game. As noted in my previous post, we shouldn't even be in this position, but too many Americans were complacent or let politics cloud common sense.

Good leadership would have prevented the nation was being in this predicament to begin with...but our government is too dysfunctional. https://www.justplainpolitics.com/s...d-Government-Corruption&p=3768374#post3768374

Agreed Trump's lack of leadership skills became glaringly apparent almost immediately. A highlight is that Vice President Pence's leadership skills shined brightly, albeit for too brief a period when Trump got jealous. Pence showed Americans what we should expect from our leaders, Trump showed how a Reality TV host acts.

Yes, the voters are not happy with Trump.

I am amused by dullards who think the economy crashing over a Chinese caused virus is Trump's fault. :palm:

Wrong; what it has done is exposed the Party of the Jackass and the PHONY media for the America hating morons they really are. They are so desperate that they are willing to destroy the economy on purpose over a virus that has killed .039% of the population to try to drag Dementia Joe across that finish line.

That's the definition of retarded.
:palm:

So you believe that the best interest of these children is to destroy their parents jobs along with their futures? That's moronic. :palm:

All this over a disease that has caused the deaths of .039% of our population. Now that's retarded.

I see you still hate the truth. I can't say that surprises me.

Do you think you have the respect of your peers? Do you ever wonder if the other members of the Alt-Right, far Right, Trump Dick Suckers, etc regard you as having a "keen mind"? Do you think they wonder if you are in an institution or under medical supervision?

More children will die on their way to school than from this disease. In fact, very few, if any, have died as a direct result of this disease. ;)

GROAN.

Do you think that it is even remotely logical one can prevent all deaths of children? The only way to achieve your lunatic views would be to wrap children in a protective bubble all their lives. :palm:

Every time a child walks to, gets a ride to, or takes the bus to school, it is a roll of the dice. :palm:
