The FBI knew in advance the Pulse Nightclub shooter (Omar Mateen) and were tipped off by the local sheriff. The FBI knew in advance the San Bernardino Terrorists (Tashfeen Malik). The FBI knew in advance the Boston Marathon Bombers (the Tsarnaev brothers) tipped off by Russians. The FBI knew in advance the Garland, Texas, shooters (Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi). The FBI knew in advance of the Parkland High School shooter (Nikolas Cruz). The FBI knew in advance of the Fort Hood shooter (Nidal Hasan); and now the FBI knew in advance of Ahmad al-Aliwi Alissa.

Those are just off-the-top of my head… Anyone notice a pattern?

Meanwhile the political FBI agents chase the ghosts of mysteriously invisible white supremacists conducting random acts of unidentified racism..

13 FBI agents were dispatched to Talladega speedway to investigate a garage pull-down rope and push a narrative.

And call bruce jenner "he" and you'll end up serving 40 years or until you get your mind right.

The FBI is too worried about shutting down hookers and defending Hollywood.

The FBI let 9/11 happen.

Let's assume that FBI stands for "fucking bunch of idiots."

Do you realize how far ahead mentally that still leaves them compared to a devolved trumpanzee mutant like you, Miss Kitty?

If there were an effective law in effect to keep weapons away from the hands of the mentally ill, 10 people in Colorado would be alive, 10 families would not be grieving.

Why was he allowed to buy a gun?

Because Mental Hospitals were closed in the late 80s/90s due to Big Pharma selling magic pills.

Or at least selling the government on them. They only work if they are taken, though. Sometimes not even then.

That boy in Broward county? He should have been in Chattahoochee a year b4 he had a chance to do what he did.

It's like this: The government is not going to protect people. People need to be ready to protect themselves and those they care about.

Government takes a lot of tax money for nothing in return.

why are you allowed in public when you don't know how government works or read a fucking law statute?

Why was he allowed to buy a gun if he was this dangerous and everyone knew he was this dangerous?

Don't think I didn't notice how you ran away from it.

lay out that 'effective' law in very specific detail. lets see what your idea is.

I would have to spend lots of time on it and work it out, that is what a legislative aid does, not my job and I don't have 20 hours to put into it.

You dont think it can be done?

I don't think Big Pharma had anything to do with Reagan closing mental hospitals.

I think the decision to do that was solely for cruelty's sake because those people kicked out of the hospitals didn't suddenly find themselves flush with cash or health insurance to buy anti-psychotic prescription drugs.

I mean I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the mentally ill homeless population doesn't get regular prescriptions for drugs to treat their conditions.

Right...but what is the connection between closing the hospitals, and then getting the people who were in those hospitals, who were getting the drugs they needed, those same drugs outside of the hospital?

They still need the drugs, and losing the hospital also means they lose their access to the drugs.

That's because you're derp. :D

Even if they get said drugs on the outside, there's no med nurse to make sure they take them.

Wait - do you mean the guy who shot up Atlanta last week, or are you referring to a different mass shooter?

The only way anyone would know if these people were truly nuts is if they underwent a psych evaluation...and I could be wrong, but I don't think many mass shooters go through psych evaluations before committing a mass shooting.

The only way to prevent crazy people from getting guns, other than just getting rid of guns altogether, is mandatory pre-screenings for every gun owner and prospective gun owner.

That's the only safe way to do this, and it will inevitably result in some people losing their weapons.

It's like this: The government is not going to protect people. People need to be ready to protect themselves and those they care about.

Isn't the entire point of our National Defense to protect people?

So you're saying people need to protect themselves from people because people get guns and people kill people with guns.

So...why not just get rid of the guns? Then there's nothing you need a gun to protect yourself from.

Government takes a lot of tax money for nothing in return.

No, government cuts taxes and gets nothing in return.

We have nearly $27T of debt, half of which is from tax cuts, and we have nothing to show for that.

If that $27T was spent on things like Infrastructure, health care, education...then we'd have something to show for the debt and we can debate whether or not that money was wisely spent.

Have you ever read the 2nd amendment?

Yes there are things you need a gun to protect yourself from. Sword-wielding gangs of beheading Muslims, for instance.

Another would be a bear that has broken your home.

Another would be a gator that found its way into your yard.

You've probably never seen a bear in real life.
