Since I was quoting somebody else it is very likely I didn't put any words in your mouth.
And?
There were, apparently, nobody in that theater carrying concealed.t hey have.
Because you have yet to find one that happened in a place where somebody was carrying.
K... I didn't ask you whether you wanted my gun. Again, since I quoted somebody else it was likely I was talking to them.
Exactly what would say "carrying"? If I lived in Denver and wanted to go hunting would I be forced to store my rifle in some other place? Also, how would that not be infringing on bearing arms?
Nor do I. My only point is that I believe that the freedom and rights are worth the risk.
K. I misread your post, i have bad eyesight, but that's not an excuse.
as to "carrying"
yes, SCOTUS has ruled it's an unabridged right to do so, where we disagree is the "freedom and rights" aren't worth the risk (IMHO).
I'd venture to say many more ppl were murdered by guns then saved lives. Impossible to back up that statement.
I'm from the Balto/DC area. Used to be more then 1 murder a day in each city -lots of drug dealing, but not all of it.
I think the carnage has now shifted to Chicago.
John Lennon
JFK
RFK
Dr. King.
4 reasons I can think of why guns are not healthy, and this was decades ago. Gun violence is going up, more guns are around/sold
(last December was record purchases). So there is a correlation, if not a causative linkage.
I admit to being predjudiced, i've seen too much death, too many mass murders, it's pretty much impossible to stop proliferation given SCOTUS rulings.
The consequences of proliferation cannot be ignored. How to reduce the deaths is up for debate, i'd ban them all if i could, but that aint happening.
So this is the new norm, you say there is going to be someone with a concealed that will stop a mass murder -i'll be waiting for that to happen.
